    Sounds really good for the price! I was looking at the Sugar65 for a gift to my friend, but this seems like a solid upgrade. Too bad they don't have the Pink color, I guess I'll settle for the Milky White one. Lack of VIA is a non issue to me, considering it's wireless and I'll probably just set it up once and forget about it.

    How's the typing angle? is the front height seems fairly low so it seems Ok to use without a wrist rest.
    Still... I know it's a budget board but having that mounting point right by the spacebar means it mutes the sound there.

    Nice keeb, i think one of the major flaws is the non support for screwed stabs... but for the price it's still a great choice.

    Hey quick question, I just got the cloud linear for this board, lubed them already, but the space bar has a has a bit of a hollow sound. Did you do anything to it? It's not my keycaps or lubing since the keycaps are DCX BOW which are decent.

    Hello, nice review ;)
    I've bought this keeb first impression was great but I am facing a major flaw that there is no way to configure right alt key with the software, I was able to put in the Sugar65 the right alt in the original FN place and the FN key in the Right Ctrl in the sugar with his software, but it seems that in this keyboard with it's own software is imposible, I configure the keys in the soft as I have in the Sugar65 and save and nothing happens...

    in total I ordered 6 units of blue one. Of 6 units only one was unfaulty. 1 came scratched, 1 came without support rubber on the bottom, 1 came without rgb on capslock and delete key, and other 2 came without working software - couldn't change key layout. Half of them all didn't have working 2.4gHz connection. In one unit after replacing the spacebar stabilizer the whole keyboard stopped working.. It looks so good but the quality is such a distaster that's it's hard to recommend.

  • @maxchopin409
    @maxchopin409 Před 2 měsíci +4

    I'll share some facts about this keyboard as not everyone may be aware of. I ordered 2 units. 1st unit didn't want to connect 2.4gHz and keys didn't want to change in software. In the 2nd it works, however! 2.4.gHz is completely useless as it's not responsive and has massive delay! Not for gamers then! And the total red flag for me is you can't change the FN key layout in the software. Yes it's beautiful keyboard that feels and looks premium, but I have to take aways few points for not being practical.

    Not having an “irish” green colorway seems like a missed opportunity. The lack of VIA and the 1.2mm pcb probably makes this a miss for me, mostly because the budget 65% space is already pretty crowded with decent boards. Nothing really makes it stand out.

    • @Merkeebs

    Waste of time keyboard lacks QMK/VIA sick of these manufacturers thinking everyone owns just one keyboard. When you own multiple and multiple brands you don't want to install every single manufacturers software. Just support at least via even cheap $36 dollar Keychrons are. Why make all these great keyboards and many of your buyers want QMK/VIA that is why its even pointed out on the site that its not supported.

    • @nightrunnerks
      @nightrunnerks Před 2 měsíci

      I'm not sure if you're aware, but one of the main reasons is the lack of wireless support for QMK. ZMK is an option but isn't as common or popular.
      Any wireless board that isn't a keychron or nuphy has a jank JSON via support which isn't as good as true QMK/via.
      If the QMK maintainers allowed keychrons fork into the main repo it might be a different story. Hope this clarifies why some budget keebs need their own software! Blame the QMK maintainers!

    • @thestreamreader
      @thestreamreader Před 2 měsíci

      @@nightrunnerks That is good insight I am cool with just VIA support at least I can maintain all my boards with one piece of software. Cidoo, Epomaker, Feker boards are now at least offer VIA support. I don't like using wireless anyway. I have so many boards that I wire them all in anyway and pull the batteries. If phones explode I am sure eventually these batteries will have quality issues at some point as well on cheap manufactured boards. So not worth risking my house for wireless connectivity.
