    All Those Levers To Specific Things Are Really Futuristic

    Great video! You really know how to show off this wonderful car.
    I would note two things for non-MINI Cooper owners: the convenient designs for opening the hood and closing the moon roof.
    First, the two-pull-sequence hood release lever eliminates the need to feel around for a hidden latch under the front edge of the hood because there isn't one. Then, thanks to hydraulic struts, you can open the hood without fumbling around with a stick to hold it open.
    Second, you don't have to wait for the moon roof to close to the vent position before pressing the switch a second time to close it completely. You can press the switch twice at the start to close the moon roof completely.

    I know this video has been out already for a while, but I just wanted to say a short thank you for all those videos you've uploaded about your Cooper SE. Those really influenced my decision to buy a used one myself. Now I just rewatched this particular video and noticed that window chirping in particular. I fixed mine by applying some rubber care on the door sealings. It's been almost two months now without any chirping and the rubber seals look much fresher too!

    This was AWESOME! I have a question …. Can you hear the AC sound outside the car with the cover on and hood closed? We just got the 2023 and it seems REALLY LOUD! You’re the only one I could find that focused on the sounds of the car and you rock for that!

    • @minise-focus
      @minise-focus  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes - it is startlingly loud - but that is normal.

    Fantastic video my friend!
    Would you be able to make a video focusing on the sound system of the Mini? Whether it’s the premium sound system or regular?
    If you’re afraid of a copyright strike, just play the royalty free background music you have on your videos on the speakers!
    Thank You so much!!

    Great video! My son loves the sounds too...Random question, do the rest turn signals flash in amber or red?

    • @minise-focus
      @minise-focus  Před 2 lety +1

      Rear turn signals are red; front side scuttles and front headlight rings flash amber.

    • @nberkel
      @nberkel Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for the quick reply! That's what I thought, but looked like the rear might be amber from that view. Guess I'll have to look into getting the European tail light version when my car arrives after all 🤔

      I took some time off from the video hobby. Busy holiday season for me! But I plan to get back to it soon. There are a few items on my list, including cold-weather range, heated steering wheel, and heated seats. I already covered the steering wheel, but I will be doing a follow up on it along with the heated seats.

    Try Angel Wax H2go on your windows, should last alot longer than the RainX stuff.

    • @minise-focus
      @minise-focus  Před 2 lety +1

      Except for the price vs benefit - Angel Wax is a lot more expensive than Rain X.

      @@minise-focus depends, of it lasts fR longer, you need less of it! Only a few quid cheaper anyhow!

    Does your mini hug the road like they say? I've had three models of Toyota and all three had the loosey goosey feel in the back end on some turns or slightly wet road. You know, where it feels like the back end is losing it. Really want a car that doesn't do that and that has the nice Federal US tax credit.

    • @minise-focus
      @minise-focus  Před 2 lety +2

      It absolutely hugs the road! Especially with the OEM summer tires.

    I would really like to know how to get rid of the chirp when I open my door (but not leaving car)

    • @minise-focus
      @minise-focus  Před 2 lety +2

      Is that when you've turned the car on (drive mode) and open the door without your seat belt on and it chirps and turns back off? If so, look for "bottle opener by tikit" on Amazon. You can click it into the seat belt and the car will remain on when you open the door . I use it all the time if I forget something in the house and want to leave the car running.

    Great video, but do you have an alarm sound video? I occasionally get a single high-pitched alarm from the dash. It appears with an icon but by the time I look up the alarm and icon have vanished.

    • @tnnt1263
      @tnnt1263 Před rokem

      That may be your frontal collision warning. If you're on a collision course, the icon appears, and if you're about to actually hit something and haven't done anything about it, the alarm sounds.

    100% = 112 miles ??? wtf this is ridiculous ?

    • @minise-focus
      @minise-focus  Před 2 lety +6

      Do you understand the target market for this car? It is intended for urban settings, not long road trips. And 100% is closer to 128 miles except when very cold. Still, not a long range car.
