I love that pink pen. I like hearing about what you and your family are doing. I like using putty better than wax. I am glad I found diamond painting it is the only hobby I have stuck with for a long time. I like the beadsmith storage containers i got on Amazon.
I agree Lindsay, it is very frustrating. Sometimes I just want to MINDLESSLY drill away and enjoy the process rather than expending unnecessary time and energy trying to make fixes. Thanks for the link to the storage container. Will have to give them a try. 🤧👨👩👦👦🏃♀💎🐧

Thank you for the WIP and chat, Lindsay! First I would like to say, I saw that post and just don't understand, if your following a creator and watching WIP and chat's, what do you want them to talk about for an hour? Diamond painting?? I love hearing about your life and your kids! It's real! There is only so much you can discuss about diamond painting before its the same thing, over and over!
I have not tried one of those pens but they are really cute! I do have one with sharp ridges right now! I was trying to love it and have been using it most of this week, I thought I was holding it wrong, glad to know I'm not the only one! I haven't tried Rose mudd yet but I am loving Alien Putty. It seems to work really well. Even with abs. I also really like Creations Morin putty. It lasts for awhile too.Hope you have a great weekend! 🐧
Geesh. I hope everyone feels better soon. That's the worst. I am so happy you explained that rendering thing to me. I have always wondered why there would be random colors especially around words. Seriously, I wouldn't know what hand or computer rendering looked like if it smacked me.
Vampire Academy is one of my favourite book series of all time. I also really like the Cruel Prince series.

I completely agree that the computer rendering kit I’ve done just frustrated me and has scared me to trying some companies. I love the crispness that DAC delivers. I do enjoy your WIP n Chats because they are Diamond painting themes but you sprinkle in so much more. It’s nice to hear how others are good or bad , not just what some think it should be. I get to paint an hour or so at night and love to listen as I do. As far as wax or putty. I started with a couple different kinds, but I found RoseMUDD and use the original. I feel like I’m giving back with my purchases. Supporting their charity. I hope you have a great week and everyone gets better soon.
🏅Hi Lindsay, I think the cube containers are my favorite too. They hold a lot of drills and if I only need to place a few, it’s wide enough for me to put my pen in rather than pour the drills out in a tray. I bought a set when you first showed them and I’ve bought two more sets since. Thanks for the recommendation. ❤
I’ve tried a lot of putties and go back to my glue dots for the single placer and glue lines for the multiplacer every time. But I still continue to buy other things 😅

I was super disappointed in the Pure Bliss Wax Co waxes. :( It was the first small shop I purchased from (I've just recently started diamond painting) so I got 4 of them and only 1 is even slightly usable for me. They are just too sticky (in a bad way...lol) and get soft after only a little bit of use, and I find they leave a ton of the residue like you saw on your first place on the drills I pick up as well! I didn't try it in a multiplacer though, so maybe I'll give that a shot!
EDIT: Ope nevermind just got to the point where you hated it and took it out..LOL! Also Vampire Academy! AHH What a blast from the past, such a great book series.

I get it. I just want to diamond paint. I recently finished a small piece that had a lot of confetti and I was just like why, why so much confetti. It seemed like it took forever to finish and that was on a 12 x 12”
Hey Lindsay, yes totally agree rendering is the most important thing to me personally and I think that’s why the majority of my stash is made up of dac… and it’s an especially big issue with customs too, because I have ordered a few and had to re-render them myself because the rendering hasn’t been great… 100% with u! Love ur videos! Love the kit ur working on super cute!
I am not a stay-at-home mom anymore, and my babies are grown, but don't listen to the haters. You keep talking about your kids and your life. I love listening to all of you about your families. Thanks for the container link. I love those little 28/52 pack containers, but the 4-long lines don't come apart, and I am forever changing up the stickers, because my OCD says they have to be in order. Putting them in one-at-a-time will be much easier on my anxiety.
Thanks for the chat and rant! I agree with you I stopped buying paintings from dbd because the computer rendering. I hate canvases that have unnecessary confetti. Most places with computer rendering do I don’t care what others may say lol. Regardless if it may look ok done it just is not enjoyable to work on for me. I would appreciate your honest review as a newbie I bought from some places based on not so honest reviews and I was disappointed when I received them. Being honest can be hard sometimes but it’s important. Helps shops improve too, I also don’t understand why a shop would want the same canvas from multiple suppliers and renderings I would think wanting to source the best one is a smarter idea? 🐧❤
Neat to see those medals! And I don't think you're wrong to complain about computer rendering that hasn't been touched up. Especially if it changed form a previous version--that's so frustrating! I always watch unboxings and reviews for new companies, but if they make changes that kind of defeats the purpose.
I do the walk challenges through Conquerer and Yes Fit. I just threw away a ton of medals though. I started doing the walk without a physical reward or getting the tank tops. 😊
I use wax in my single placer and putty in my multi. I like Rose Muds original. The 2.0 is too sticky and won’t let go of the drills. LOL But my favorite mud is Randa’s. It lasts longer. I like the cube storage containers too and like you my first ones have been a little iffy in quality, but I use them anyway. I may get a couple more from your link to see if they are a bit better. 🚶🏽♀️🚶🏽♀️🚶🏽♀️🏅
Oh my gosh my Halloween Kitty from DBD was confetti heavy like your Valentine Kitty! I am currently working on Valentine Kitty from DBD and I'm so glad it's the other rendering that doesn't have all the confetti because it was so difficult for me to push through it all 🫠

I destashed all my computer rendered kits, including Valentines Kitty from DbD, because of the reason you are talking about. I was so disappointed as well, Lindsay! You aren’t alone in your frustration with computer renderings! Never again for me. Ain’t nobody got time for that, you’re right!
Hey Lindsay saw the post about creators talking about their kids. As Tay Tay would say haters gonna hate. The idea is to find content creators you enjoy. They could have just done that or had a post saying hey does anyone know any creators that talk about these topics instead of making it a bit of an attack post. It’s them, not you.
Talk about whatever the hell you want to talk about, no one is forcing anyone to listen.
And you don’t just talk about your kids (though that would be fine, I like hearing updates on how they’re going), I discovered conquer challenges, authors annotated versions and insightful thoughts on computer rendering. You have a big following for a reason!❤ 🚶♂️ 🥇 📚

Oooh I have seen those medals before and wondered if they were actually legit! Thanks for sharing them! I've also wondered if the apple watch will keep track of steps and stuff when you're using a walking pad because you're not moving any distance, and mine doesn't track step count, just motion/activity. I'm a noob with fitness stuff. XD But you're making me want to look into those walking pads! I agree with you about rendering (perhaps unsurprisingly). One of my biggest pet peeves is random purples or greens that don't belong there at all. I think the computer is just throwing in those stripes and random colors to try to imitate the overall appearance of a color that does not actually exist in the DMC, but it's still frustrating. At least humans still have the skill over computers in some areas! XD 🤖
My Apple Watch slightly undercounts my steps based on what the walking pad tells me, but what is nice is that you can turn off your watch from sending its data during your workout and manually add your walking distance 😊
I love hearing from your perspective because you see the rending process up close and throughout it all! Those purple and greens are awful 🤮😂 the first to go when I’m trying to rerender as I go.
I bet you are having so much fun with the new colors DAC is adding. I’m also working on the new Roy Trinh and the darker skin colors(all new colors) look amazing! 🤩👏🏻

Lindsay were the containers 26 dollars when you bought them? I am going to check them out.
Them wave lines make it look like someone took their phone out and took a picture of the artwork on a computer screen. But, I have been surprised at the fact that DAC hasn't been rendering the wording in the Harry Potter movie posters well. Every single time they release a new movie poster a few days later it's being clearance out because the rendering of the words doesn't come out. I've been seeing that with every movie poster. I'm like maybe get a copy of the poster without the wording? But honestly this craft is basically pixel art at the end of the day and it's never gonna really look exactly like the original image. I've had people who have asked me, "why do you spend almost $100 on a single piece of DIY pixel art?"
