Author Kamila Shamsie, whose novel Home Fire is long-listed for the 2017 Booker Prize, grew up in Karachi and now lives in London. Kamila has garnered five international awards for her novels, and is both the trustee of English PEN and a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. She was named one of Granta’s ‘Best of Young British Novelists’.
