I have an excavator with a vibrating hammer that would make short work of this. Could have put all them poles in the ground in one day without killing your backs. I'm in Savannah GA message me if you're ever doing this again. Yall did a fine job but man that's a rough way to do it.
Yes sir that would’ve been awesome! It was a fun bonding experience plus dad saved a ton of cash. We had to work with the tides using the creek water for the pump so we had some down time to rest.
I'm down in SWFL, we use an excavator with the hammer head attachment. Makes easy work. Most of the time were in the barge setting pile or building lifts/canopy
Hunter French... can you tell me a little more about the pipe set up... It looks like PVC, is this correct? What size pipe, what was the connection from the hose to the pipe... Looks like a simply elbow?
Matsumura Seito the red discharge hose is flat with no pressure. It was by far the weakest part of our set up. The hose blew off the pipe about a dozen times. I would suggest upgrading to a stronger discharge hose.

excavators are NOT lawn friendly. I'll use this method and eliminate the damaged lawn.

We didn't use a back hoe. This was about a month after hurricane Irma. We did use my dad's mid size tractor with a blade to back fill dirt.
What kind of pump did you use? What size motor?
Harbor freight 2” pump. Still works great today
