Considering his enormous wage bill and many, many expenses, he has to make a super profit when he can. Loved the card table.
A pity no new episodes past season 12 have been aired in my country, my family used to get together and watch this delight in the dining room
Ayatimas Castro Delgado that’s kool to have a family set down and watch👍😁
Ayatimas Castro Delgado. Be Thankful you Can't Because dp Breaks up other people's marriages! Visit Wales and see how popular he is¥ Plus watch other videos and view people's comments ~ Saint = Nien, Nyet NO. Xxx
@@simonpeirce6786 Don't bother. CMJ Canada
Charles Jensen. I won't because he is an Oxygen Thief¥
@@simonpeirce6786 I am getting the impression that Mr Drew is not universally popular in his native domains? A biography of his private as well as commercial life seems to be another money spinner he could invest in... no doubt a ghost writer or two would be begging for his business?
He didn’t rob anyone tho. He offered his price, they accepted. They would have made profit on them.
TRU .. Its not a only shop its a physical store after all ..!
People forget that you can have the most valuable stock but not have the network to sell it to.
Those legs are cool. That table is amazing though.
All this hoohar about how he ripping off sellers, nothing about how many wages are being supported and the restorers that are getting work from him etc, get real people!!!
All the screamers can't afford his furniture. Sour grapes.
It doesn't matter how much you think an item is worth, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
The owner was quite desperate to sell. Watch his expressions.
He seems to have a good reputation. I am sure some folks feel ripped off but they do not have to sell to him no one is forcing them.
Fantastico Dreew ! Yeah ....
Bit of a tight git tho 3500 table for 350 and still pinched 20 quid off it
He never noticed the Charlotte Perriand Chairs 🤦♂️
Robbed that elderly gentleman blind
Business as usual then ...
These snippets of deals don't allow for the end result as to how much he turns things around for.
He would have sold those seats for around 2K
He is never coming to my house
crap! you will never see dealer exaggerating and talking that nice about any item in the front of the seller also all the prices that you see in this show are just for show - i was in Drew shop - nothing like you see on tv - never an old broken chair for 700£ :D that's bullshit just for show.
What are you talking about ? All the items you see him buy are for sale on his website
@@rude2870 im talking about his shop - the website is made for american ppl - they are the only one that pay crazy money for antique stuff - i deal with stuff like that around Ireland , UK, Scotland and i know what I'm talking about , you probably don't and all you know is from those shows.
This is a person selling on behalf of a seller. He doesn’t care he just wants his commision
Wow. That Table is worth 3000 pounds and Drew's asking for a discount when the seller asks 350!? Never understood al the hate for Drew, but just lost all respect for him when he did that. You can see the seller is at the end of his luck and desperate. What a shame! Was always a fan, but Drew just went too far in my eyes.
Drew turned his biz into an international website marketplace and has learned how high some items will sell for. Many antique shops sell to the walk in public only and he probably paid some elderly woman $75 for the table now selling for $350 and it’s Drew’s fault? Couldn’t you say the store owner really ripped off who he bought it from to be happy to sell at $350? Many items in life are worth only exactly what someone is willing to pay for it and if Drew gets an online buyer at $3000 for the table in San Francisco does that make him a crook? Our times have changed to jealousy when people feel that other’s make too much.
Fair point. My response was fuelled more by the respect I had for Drew, because he would often pay people more than they asked for when he felt he could make a real killing anyway. Here, its reversed. He knows he'll make more than 2500 out of this 350 table, and still tries to squize out 50 quid more
In this situation they are both dealers/members of their own profession. He is not visiting a private home owner.
@@1516Spinola6040 Well, that makes some sense, I guess. Hand't considered it
@@kriddie88 if you study most of the salvage Hunter clips you soon discover he rips off 99% of his punters, quite subtlety most times and blatantly others, he’s constantly angling for the big rip off 👍
Chairs are nice but the tables ugly
The adventures of that obnoxious little man with his faithful hound tee again !
He lowballs and takes advantage because of the show and the publicity he brings these dealers, but it's not really ethical.
Screwyoudrew ripping punters off again
Hate when he rips people off
