Let's look at the $39 Puffy Jacket from Amazon. In the video I mistakenly call it by Amazon Basics, it's actually the Amazon Essentials Lightweight Water-resistant Packable Puffer Jacket.
I got the hooded version of the Amazon jacket and was surprised by how warm it was out in 10 to 20 degree F weather. The wind resistance was a real surprise based on how light weight it is.
Agreed, I'm still impressed with this jacket after 3 years. Unless it's really cold - 0-10 F or extremely windy this has been my go to for hiking and day use.

Works at at about £30, which is a good price for a warm jacket. Must admit I have always wanted a real lightweight, fully waterproof Down jacket but the prices are insane. For the price, I think you got a bargain, cheers Alan

They have a "try before you buy" option, not sure how it works, but worth looking in to. Not that kind of puffy lol

I was a little concerned, the down version had all kinds of reviews stating some baffles had no down lol I wasn't sure what to expect.
