I had bought a bunch of these dish towels at Dollar Tree/ Family Dollar, General Dollar & Walmart for a different craft. I had stopped working on this craft I was using these dish towels for & now I have a bunch of dishtowels left over so I think I'm going to try making these dish towel toppers for the leftover dishtowels I accumulated. It will most definitely keep me busy for awhile. Thanks Pamela for this easy tutorial.

Thank you for sharing! I have not made these in years. I would always find a towel that had same image on both ends. Cut towel in half and then hand sew a small edge with needle and thread, if not, the towel will ravel. Then I would punch an even amount of holes across the sewn edge with an e hook. Then crochet with h hook or I hook with the crochet pattern, thinking of different ways with every towel I made. Everyone has a different way to make these towels, more power to you! Make a solid towel with some variegated yarn for Halloween, Christmas, Easter, every occasion.

Ok, so I got side tracked making scrubbies. And now I am making my first towel topper. I think I ended up with 9 at the top before making the 8 row “tab” to fold over but that’s ok.
But as you started doing the first double crochet of the eight rows I was lost. It went so fast. I’ll keep watching this and try to get it.
    I do persevere.
I really enjoy your videos. I’m learning a lot.
