    Check that the turbo's vnt arm is fully up when the actuator is fully retracted. Also check the vnt arm stop screw is set right. It needs to be fully extended to the stop at 18in/hg of vacuum on a mityvac

    May well be something else then. Check N75 valve, check vac pipes are OK, check actuator is OK with mityvac and finally check vnt arm is free moving

    Hi I have the same issue it sounds exactly the same. How did you fix this?

    • @jamescottenham
      @jamescottenham  Před 6 lety +1

      Nurdian Pustiadi hi. This was a brand new turbo I had put on. The problem with this was that the vnt arm and the actuator were not set up correctly. If yours is the original turbo and has started doing this then I would look for problems with the N75 valve, split vacuum hoses, the vanes in the turbo stuck open with soot or the actuator diaphragm split. Hope this helps

      Thanks a lot! It actually still is the original turbo. I will look into this issue and let you know what I found out.

      Audi RS3 yes solved. In this case it was because vnt arm was not set in the correct position
