- Shakti Samanta speaks about phases of Indian cinema. He says, "I'll go back still I'll say the era started first you forget about two theatres in Bombay talkies days but then it started with Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, they were the idols at that time and except for Raj Kapoor, everybody is here even today is making films then, of course, came the other era you can say the historical scheme and then Pradeep Kumar came and so many people who are interested in mythological like all those people who has been working in mythological like Baiju Bawra and these people used to make Sohrab Modi used to make historical so like that age came then, of course, the other era came the Shammi Kapoor and you can say, Manoj Kumar, Dharmendra these people came up then came the era of more younger generation Rajesh Khanna Shashi Kapoor and from 1974 onwards another miracle happened in the film industry when Amitabh Bachchan came and the action has started instead of the social ones the era of action picture came even today Amitabh is considered as one of the best actors of India."
