I'm so so sorry for what you're going through. It makes me sad knowing that people, as yourself, have to live a life in constant fear because of other's who have no morality when it comes to living beings, killing others as if it's just another day. I can only hope that the human race will someday overcome war and violence, including myself, so we can someday live in peace and harmony amongst each other, that our sole purpose will be to make our lives have a meaningful purpose, that all of mankind will be treated equally, that the greedy, rich and powerful will no longer exist, and maybe someday be able to reach for the stars

Beautiful, restful and very calming. A perfect tonic for a stressful day. I could listen to an album full of Jimmy on acoustic 🤩

Every time I hear this song I picture the skyscrapers of midtown Manhattan passing overhead, and then entering the depths of Madison Square Garden… then a dove in the darkness, and then “alright, let’s go!”
    (If you know you know)

I love this little interlude; it fits perfectly amongst the hills near Machynlleth, Wales where Jimmy and Robert stayed in a cabin called Bron-Yr-Aur. A lot of songs came out of that holiday that made it primarily onto LZIII but albums beyond. It is currently an artists' retreat that caters to all sorts of different artists working in various mediums. It is a piece of simple beauty and I love how it was recorded so you could hear the strings squeak as they're strummed/picked; it's like a secret whispered in your ear for you alone.

After the metal pounding that was Led Zep II, and the nearly two years of steady touring, the band took to the sanctity of the Welsh mountains to refresh, get to know each other personally, and flee the insanity of the road. The move towards a lighter, more acoustic side of the band in LZ III was instrumental in the development of their "light + shade" signature sound that would reach full flower in the untitled next album.

@@alanhowell3646 Robert plant said in an interview and Jimmy page did also that the song Bron-Yr-Aur was recorded at a cottage called by the same name in 1970. Not all of the songs on physical graffiti were from Headley Grange in 1975. Some were in 1970, some were in 1972. Look up the interviews. I know it’s true because the two writers of those 3 albums said it.

LZ pronounce this name (Bron Yr Aur) as Bron Rour but really I think it's meant to be pronounced Bron Ur Our. Maybe the locals run the words together though.

Personally I think you "choked" this reaction ... you could've warned him that it's a 2 minute acoustic instrumental ! He looked like he was expecting the beat to change and vocals to come in, like at the 1:30 point he was thinking daaaang this is a long intro and then at the end going ... "is that it ?" It's 2 minutes of brilliant 12 string acoustic and he should've been advised to focus on the whole damn song !

It's pronounced Bron-ur-eye-r. The Rs being rolled and the U being the U in turn, burn, churn. No added Welsh accent since it's in the Welsh language
