Soothing beautiful sounds…. That is the name of the cottage in Wales where they stayed in 1970 and wrote several songs. Some of the songs appeared on about three different albums over time. I believe Bron yr aur means hills of gold.

I think you are one of the first people to react to this tune. I love Bron yr Aur. I just wish it was longer. People always get confused about this song because there are two songs that have "Bron yr Aur" in the title. There are people commenting on here that know nothing about Led Zeppelin lol. Good reaction.

You're correct that it has LZ III vibes because it was written around the same time as that album but they didn't use it until Physical Graffiti. The first guitar instrumental they did was Black Mountain Side all the way on the first album.
Good ear, Biz: this song was indeed recorded during the LZ III sessions. Not sure why it was left off, but it fits in nicely on “Graffiti.”
