I can confirm that this advice categorically doesn't work. The higher the quality of the image you upload, the more Amazon crunches the shit out of it once it hits the detail page. This happens regardless of whether it's a listing image, A+, or brand story, although, the brand story seems to be the worst of the bunch. Virtually impossible to get anything better than potato quality there.

Had the same experience, storefront is the worst offender here. Amazon simply destroys the images. Makes me furious

@@jessiamedeiros4294 @1986gooner Hi guys! Are you using Canva or other professional design programs like Photoshop? Remember, Amazon wants you to use high-quality images on your listing. If you tried all these tips, but your images still don't look good, then probably you are not using the best images. Check out your raw files, export them again, and make sure you export them on 72 PPI.

I'm using Ai to export all my images and no matter what I do, which size, format or dpi I choose I get the worst resolution @@ShareItStudio

So, according to you, that's ideal size for EBC, Brand Story etc. (PNG)
    3000*3000
    300 dpi
    72ppi
    LISTING IMAGES
    3000*3000
    300 dpi
    72 ppi
    Did I get it right....?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Yes, but it's important you check out the Amazon Images guidelines to know what size every type of content feature needs. But the more high-quality and good resolution your images are, the better 🙂

@Share It Studio - Marketing for Amazon Sellers I'm facing this issue mainly in Brand Story Images, even though I have tried to increase the size and upload im PNG format but all in vain.
Any tips for Brand Story Images...?

@@gamerrrr3407 Hello! Did you try re-exporting all the files? Also, make sure the images you are using for your design have the best quality possible.

"increase the pixel numbers" - if I do this Amazon just cuts the image to their pixel sizes! What am I missing?

      @ShareItStudio  Pƙed rokem

      Hi Erik!
Remember that digital media is all about finding a good resolution: images that are 3000px x 3000px, with a 72ppi resolution, should work perfectly. They will still get compressed by Amazon (to optimize the website navigation), but they should still look neat and high-quality.
Let us know if this helps! Thank you so much for your question.
