Today we start our Sikkim trip, heading to a cool place called Lachen up in North Sikkim. It's about 130 kilometers from Gangtok's Vajra taxi stand, and the ride's gonna take us around six hours. But hey, this trip ain't a walk in the park - we gotta sort out some permits 'cause it's a bit risky.
Now, between Gangtok and Lachen, there's a bunch of cool stuff to see. First off, there's the Seven Sister Waterfalls, a sight to behold with all its cascading beauty. Then, there's Chungthang, a quiet little town where you can soak in some peaceful vibes and awesome views.
Once we hit Lachen, it's like stepping into a postcard with all those snow-capped mountains. From there, we can check out Gurudongmar Lake, which is just stunning, or maybe go for a hike and soak in those Himalayan views.
So, get ready for an adventure as we hit the road to Lachen, 'cause it's not just about getting there, it's about soaking in all the beauty and culture along the way.
