- Triple first for all drivers:
1st : Jenson Button (Honda) - maiden victory.
2nd : Pedro de la Rosa (McLaren-Mercedes) - his first and only podium in career.
3rd : Nick Heidfeld (BMW Sauber) - first podium for BMW Sauber. - Sport
Great race. First win for Button, first podium for De la Rosa, and first podium for BMW Sauber
Only podium for de la Rosa
Maybe you should try getting a job.
this is the first and the last that japanese anthem "Kimigayo" played in Formula 1 podium‼
i'm happy to see it. because I am japanese.
antlemha7 yes !!! Greetings from México !
Honda did win an F1 race before in 1965
Such a shame that this is the only time! So close to hearing it many times, with drivers like Sato, Suzuki, Nakajima S. and also the Toyota team for 8 years with 5 SECOND PLACES!!!
@@thegamingchannel1513 They did but I doubt they played the constructor anthem then. I don’t even know if there was a podium for F1 back then, I think Jackie Stewart once mentioned that F1 didn’t have podiums for at least some of his career.
Dont worry its not the 1st and last time u hear Kimigayo on the podium. High hopes for Tsunoda
Every driver on that podium was so happy, I don't think I've seen many like that since then.
baku 2017
0:11 R.I.P. John Button! :'(
I miss Heidfeld and De la Rosa on F1 so much. Both deserved a F1 victory.
mindugi ;) heidfeld is in formula E but I don't know about de la rosa
Dylan -4-2 commentator on a spanish channel, "Movistar F1"
Heidfeld more than De la Rosa. DLR was an ok driver, but Heidfeld was really underrated.
We need a race like this desperately. There is nothing like a GP that is won by somebody who starts outside the top 10 in a lower ranked team
I'm afraid that's far far away
Not necessarily. The great thing about shock wins is they can occur at anytime
I agree with you. The last GP with a winner outside the top 10 was Daniel Ricciardo in Baku with P10 in start, but Red Bull is not really a lower car I know :)
Basically you need both Ferraris, Mercs and Red Bulls to DNF to achieve this.
@@MacGovernor Indeed. A tad unlikely, but I'd love to be there to watch it...
福井社長がポディウムトロフィー受け取ってるの見るのは本当に感慨深いわ
またこうやって日本のコンストラクターが活躍できたらいいな~
David Coulthard was Scottish, making Button the first British man to win since Australia 2003.
Button is English which makes his first win, the first for an Englishman since Johnny Herbert at the European GP 1999.
Sorry for showing off but I'm a F1 nerd ! :P
Until Hamilton in 2007.
RIP John Button , go Jenson Button !
0:59 I wanna hear this anthem again this year when Yuki wins a GP.
Same.
What a podium though. Button, De La Rosa, and Heidfeld.
With everyone looking so happy
And the only time that the Japanese national anthem has played in F1 at the podium.
また君が代がF1のポディウムで聞ける日を夢見て
角田 頑張って
YES!!!!Jenson & Honda; Great Drive!
Great race for Button but also for De La Rosa, his only podium finish in f1, massively underrated driver
Did a fine job replacing Montoya
I'm sure Jenson never saw this coming. Little did he know, 3 years later he'd become world champion!
pedro didnt deserve to be in hrt and hekki didnt deserve to be in caterham, they deserved better
Petrov didn't deserve to be at caterham either
K mag doesn’t deserve to be in haas, old mclaren was as good as red bull in killing young talents
0:37 Jenson it's james
I kinda forgot he's of the og Brackley boys
0:59 JAPAN NATIONAL ANTHEM
1st Jenson Button Honda
2nd Pedro de la Rosa McLaren
3rd Nick Heidfeld BMW
懐かしい…最高のシーンだな
it's was great day for J/B and HONDA
日本国歌がこうやってF1の舞台でまた流れて欲しい
i want national anthem of japan🇯🇵 again to F1 podium 2021…
角田はその可能性を大いに秘めてる
we believe TSUNODA will be get's P1
鈴鹿で最高の瞬間が訪れると願ってる
we hope incredible time will be come to grand prix of SUZUKA@JAPAN
As a consolidation, Honda got their best gift before their permanent leave from Formula 1
Max Verstappen World Champion won with the help of a Honda engine
Hope Tsunoda P1 on F1 inaugural return to Suzuka
Imagine a podium like this in 2024.. no frontrunners, just midfielders
Cant stop going back to this vid
Cuz of Button claiming his 1st win and everyone else on the podium look so happy
One of the commentators once competed in Formula One himself, although he never scored a point.
PEDRO!!!!! :D
Someday, Kimigayo will be played again in an F1 podium with the help of Tsunoda.
Yuki need to win in Suzuka this year
@@leonard4928Yuki ain't doing shit with that Alpha Tauri. Maybe if he had the Red Bull RB19 he'd be able to do something
I remembered that this is the last time Kimigayo played on the podium
0:22
lol
Out cap
Pedro de la rosa , un gran piloto infravalorado, me alegro que halla saboreado las mieles del podium en F1 porque merece eso y más , grande Pedro
Everyone very happy on podium.
Johnny Herbert - 1999 European Grand Prix
is this the only time that Japanese anthem has ever been played in a podium ceremony in F1?
The only other time a Japanese constructor or driver won a race was Mexico 1965 and I don’t even know if podiums were in the sport by then, and if they were I doubt they played the constructor’s anthem
@@Anon24052 Actually it was John Surtees in Italy 1967
Dont worry Tsunoda is in f1 high hopes 4 him
Yes he replaced Montoya for the last 8 races in 2006.
He also was test driver for McLaren from 2003 to 2009
Pedro De La Rosa used to drive for McLaren?!!!
He was the reserve driver until Juan Pablo Montoya left them after the u.s gp, promoting him
Button deserve more world championships.
Yes, Jenson button champion F1
F1表彰台でまた君が代を聞かせてくれ!
Australia 2006 must first win for button
VIVA DON PEDRO MARTÍNEZ DE LA ROSA
この時以来の君が代を聞きたい…
角田くん頑張れ!
please comeback HONDA!
Best podium ever
No mercedes
No red bull
No ferrari
No Aston Martin
No alpine
No alfa romeo
No alpha tauri
No williams
Come on Hidefeld! You should always put off the cap when listening to the National Anthem!!
No. In Brazil 2001 , Nick finished 3rd.
" Take that Nick Heidfeld, you won`t take your cap off, Jenson Button will do it for you "
We'll never see the Japanese Anthem in the 2010s decade.
Honda will get there soon with Red Bull!
@@manusiaganteng2753 Yeah but we will hear the austrian anthem if Red Bull Honda win, not the japanese.
Yuki Tsunoda: Are u sure about that?
Very lucky Win from Jenson as always picking up the scraps..
No lucky, his driving was perfect and good performance in the rain !
0:21 Hats off to Nick!!! :D
For 50 years every European constructor have won the race, except one
Because David Coulthard was Scottish, it makes Johnny Herbert the last race winning Englishmen before Jenson. I think it was the 1999 European Grand Prix.
The first and last time the japanese anthem will be heard
Bet Tsunoda will
Anthems aren't played for 3rd. Only for the winning driver and constructor.
John in his pink shirt 😢🏆🇬🇧
The last Englishman before Button was Johnny Herbert at Europe 1999, Coulthard is Scottish but all Scottish, English and Welsh drivers are classed as British so the last Brit to win before Button was Coulthard if that makes sense :S
Eddie Irvine was classified as a Brit too, even though he considers himself an Irish.
1.Button
2.Dela Rosa
3.Heifeld
Yeah he was pretty good considering his lack of experience with racing the car, he wasn't that far off Kimi and de la rosa was around 35 at this time
Was this the last time we've heard the Japanese National Anthem in the podium?
kichouna douga arigatou
I love how no one knew how the Japanese anthem had finished. No one has heard it before thats why haha
No Johnny Hebert was the last englishman . Coulthard is British but from Scotland.
Was there any other time we heard the Japanese anthem on the podium?
probably in the 60s.
it think it is Damon Hill in 1998 Belgium Grand Prix
Not true. Surtees won the Italian GP in 1967 with Honda and Ritchie Ginther on the mexican GP in 1965 for Honda as well. Cheers! Quite beatiful this anthem..
Damon Hill, Spa 98.
0:39 it’s James
Coulthard is considered Scottish, or is it also part of being a British?
Last time we have Japanese anthem in F1, C'mon Yuki! Win the Japanese GP this year!
Back when Honda actually can win.
3 years later...World Drivers Champion
Not English. Last Englishman would have been Johnny Herbert, Nürburgring 1999.
noo David is from Scotland, he is a British man, but never a Englishman, THE LAST Was Jhonny Herbert in the European Gp in 1999
haha jenson pushing his cap of
its david coulthard
Wut... who is that McLaren guy? I know its not Montoya
mäyser its de la Rosa,Montoya quit F1 after the US gp months before...
johnny herbert.dc is scottish
LOL he's hair at the TIME XD
Damon Hill
when can I hear japanese anthem again?
When Kobayashi takes a freak victory at Suzuka after Maldonado takes everyone out. Massa spins off Lap 1.
A Tsukasa Get hold of F1 2006 for PS3, turn the podium celebrations on and win a race as Takuma Sato or Yuji Ide ;)
Honda isn't a works team, so hopefully Nirei Fukuzumi can make it to F1.
Japan anthem...
Eh,it was times.
the most unlikeliest podium trio at the time...bravo to all 3...
One of the best ever F1 races, totally chaotic from start to finish and nobody would have predicted that podium
And all 3 of them look so happy on the podium
De La Rosa did (and still does) more for spanish f1 than Alonso
same for Gené
JP national anthem sounds like a funeral song lol
This was a fluke win for Button, as it's the case with most of his wins. And I'm not talking about the rain and stuff like that, I'm talking about the fact that he rarely was faster than his teammates, even in races he one and his teammates retired.
how was this a fluke was miles faster than alonso and by far the fastest driver that day
+FinePieceOfGrass Is it a fluke that Jenson actually outperformed Hamilton for the whole 3 years that they were teammates as well?
caught red handed never watch f1
de la rosa really sucks lol
Miguel Rojas CALLA IMBÉCIL
Why?
