Springtime Steam at the Magic Kingdom: Walt Disney World Railroad 4/16/2024

With less than two months to go until the end of my Disney College Program, I I knew another railfanning trip to the Magic Kingdom was in order. As the warmth of another central Florida spring washed over the Magic Kingdom, the Walt Disney World Railroad's venerable old Ten Wheelers, the 1925-built Walter E. Disney and Roger E. Broggie, were once again making the rounds around the Magic Kingdom. Alongside the railroad, you'll see the horse-drawn trolleys of Main Street U.S.A. at work, the Liberty Belle Riverboat plowing along the Rivers of America, and the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad... thunder by! So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Walt Disney World Railroad!

Walter got its Baldwin whistle back in late March 2024. I’m glad they were able to get it reinstalled as all four locomotives definitely deserve their own voice. Btw any more trips planned before you leave Florida?

Hoping to swing by Busch Gardens Tampa, but sadly, going to see the 148 is more than likely a no-go.

While I did like Walter's Buckeye but I do agree! It gives the locomotives unique personalities! I can't wait for Roy to come back!

This whole time I thought Walt was wearing Roy’s whistle while Roy is away. I guess I didn’t know Walt has his own Baldwin whistle that’s lower than Lilly’s and Roger’s!

@@wavemaker10111 Someone also thought Walter was wearing Roy's whistle at the time before we found out that it's a brand new whistle. Roy's whistle has a deeper tone.
