For anyone that knows Rodney the baboon, they’d say that “danger” is his middle name. Well, it’s not actually “danger.” But it is Deinjer -- a west-Germanic word that means “daring, risk-taking, extreme.” And that’s exactly what Rodney Deinjer Ellison (Bill’s cousin) is: a risk-taker.
One of the biggest risks he ever took was falling in love. He met another baboon named Jennifer Feld. They liked sitting in the grass, picking bugs off of one another, frequent sex, and listening to Dishwalla. They got married, and as a sign of primal affection, Rodney offered to take Jennifer’s last name. And so he became Rodney Deinjer Feld.
But the biggest risk of RDF’s life came at work. When Rodney the baboon put his esophagus to the test in front of his coworkers at Ellison, Ellison & Cranager.
