I’ve been wanting to Visit Scotland and I honestly would consider moving there If I like it with my wife from the US I’m kind of getting tired of America I want some where calm peaceful and beautiful and The Us is getting crazy expensive and I heard mostly good of
Scotland and that Americans love it there when they move there.

I once observed a man and woman about 20 years ago park their Vauxhall Astra in a car park near the sea in Oban on a summers day with the window half open, key left in the ignition and the door unlocked, to get some groceries from a small supermarket. They returned about ten minutes later with the car untouched. Just imagine doing that in Glasgow!
I also saw a shoplifter steal about £200 of wine and spirits from the Tesco store in the quiet town of Pitlochry.

Aberdeenshire a safe place. Been here 1 year so far I had had the house broken into wnd been robbed knife point during the morning on a busy street. The police are a waste of ti.e saying that cctv inside my house showing the robbers dose not prove that they where in the house. Avoid at all costs. Moving back to the central belt where it is safer.

    1.Hopeless pronunciation of place names
    2. An excruciatingly bad script...."Angus is such a great place you would want to live in and enjoy tranquillity in its several countrysides....." it's as if it's been taken from a bad translation,
    3. Pictures of streets or buildings that are not in areas this video purports they're located. For example the picture of the street at 3:55 isn't Angus but in Perth and Kinross while at 4:24 the location once again isn't in Angus but in Dundee
As you might guess, I watched this tawdry attempt until about half-way through then thought better of it

All very well, but our host forgot to mention that crime rates are being driven upwards by the irresistible urge of Scots to strangle Sasannaich who come to Scotland and never bother to pronounce its place names properly, e.g., people who pronounce "shire" as they do in England: "shir". In Scotland "shire" always rhymes with "wire", and not with a well-known American singer who claims that it's in his kiss. Lochgilphead is "Loch-gilp-hed" with a guttural "ch", although "Loch-gilpedd" will do. (Anyone who cannot say "loch" and "lochan" properly immediately stands out as a foreigner.) Islay is NOT "I-lay" but "I-luh" rhyming with the English pronunciation of "tiler", with its silent "r". What/where is "North Seattoh"?! If there is one pronunciation that drives Scots over the murderous edge, it is of Moray as "Mor-ray". Moray is pronounced "Murry", and rhymes with the English pronunciation of "Slurry", although the "r" is not as lazy. Na h-Eileanan Siar means "the Western Isles" and is pronounced "nuh hella-nin shyar". I expect people who make videos about other countries to spend a few minutes learning the correct pronunciations of the place names. Sadly, I have met Sasannaich who have been living in Scotland for many years who have not made the slightest effort to adopt Scottish pronunciations. I know I shouldn't let them get under my skin, but they do. DON'T BE LAZY.
