Best colombian driver ever. We miss his blunt driving style. F1 legend.
Indeed..form is temporary but class is permanent. The most underrated driver in F1.
Montoya really showed these kids. LOL..
yep, drive them off the lawn i say
Boomer vs mellenial
@@aaronloi Which boomer?, Montoya is Generation X
Was actually pleasantly surprised to see them running on AC actually. Not a sim you often see used in these competitions.
Well done JPM just an all time legend and nice guy with it.
Montoya: imma take this kids lunch money
Yeah lol, pretty funny walking off with the 4k😂hope he gave it back😏
JPM the legend, one of the most aggressive and fast drivers in history.
Aside from winning at Indy twice, what else did he accomplish?
John J how about fastest lap in F1
@@rubenpelli
Is that the best you can do?
@@JohnJ-fj2xe 7 wins in f1, 30 podiums, 13 pole positions and 12 fastest laps, that's hell of a lot better than most f1 drivers.
@@JohnJ-fj2xe dude you know how to use Google
FYI - they're racing on the Assetto Corsa version of the Red Bull Ring
At 2 fps apparently
mrbungle83 apparently JPM also won whilst listening to darude sandstorm on repeat
*may or may not be true facts
@@mrbungle83 lol
@Jonas Jonaitis they cannot - altough i admire JPM i do not think he can compete in an online race against drivers doing that for years - -
do you know which wheels or pedals they use? Or which ones actual are used in e-sports?
That Montoya guy should be racing in real Formula 1.
As long as he doesn't call anybody a FWACKING EEDIOT.
lol
@@robin_holden oh deer!!!
You know , you know Montoya, you know
@@robin_holden Well to be fair that guy did break his FWACKING ED
When Kimi retires at least he could still race while drinking vodka. The future looks bright
No if they forget to connect the drink
@@ARB6769 It's a yoke lol
@Clark Culver RF1
Happy to see Juan Manuel Correa Fighting it out . Such a tragedy at young age . Hope he keeps spirit high
0:04 Juan obviously has never raced online lol!
Because he used to face high pressures in F1 lol
What a Legend. I loved his driving style in F1
So many big names Montoya, barrichello, fittipaldi
Adrian Fernandez was over there too
I wish there could be Senna there too...
And Kubica.
Fitipaldi failed in F3. His grandfather well that was a legend
@@oranjelicht Doesn't exclude him from being F1 royalty
Most talented race car driver of the last 20 years amazing JPM
He was my favorite F1 pilot. Senna level talent in a single lap(once won 5 straight pole positions against prime Michael Schumacher in maybe the best Ferrari ever), but lacking in other aspects needed for consistent wins in the race.
the politics got to him
Reliability of BMW V10 + far from perfect Williams chassis + his manner of driving which was incompatible with this chassis
Congrats JPM. Good to see this stuff from retired legends.
The Grandpa is still fast and also carries a lot of ballast down the bellypan.
I remember watching something with Nigel Mansell beating everyone on a SIM.
He jumped the start by quite a few seconds.
Montoya copped way too much negative crap in F1. The last racer to do something decent with a Williams.
Pastor Maldonado disagrees
akula444 haha. How very true!
Pastor was fast, but he couldn't get the chip off his shoulder. Driving the way he did, only caused problems. A different take on it, think about everyone who he wronged... now image what was likely to happen each time they met on track. Multiply that by each driver and its actually crazy he didn't have more accidents.
Massa was great.
@@Shaki123 What about Webber and Rosberg?
Loved watching Juan ,Michael and Kimi racing in that great era
There was some serious racing talent inside this room!
u mean the future
@@StarFox85 Hahaha, no. It's hardly as intense as real life. What would you simulate if there was no more racing?

🇨🇴 Montoya still kicking asses
No sé cansa de mostrarnos su talento este monstruo!!!!
Now, Montoya is a Quadruple crown race winner.
Juan is still awesome! What a top guy he is.
Some of the best sim drivers in the world... 1:08
2:18 watch a real driver how places his body and his head....amazing "muscle memory" still there.I wish he had better car and he would be champion easily..the only thing i dont like about f1 is that u are as fast as ur car.Happy to watch him conquer even this!
he pushed that BMW engine to the limit
JPM was very good but got beaten by young Kimi.
@@johnj8069 Kimi and Montoya was a beast then
Juan you beeeast. Legend.
Like a boss, showing up at last minute and taking theses kids lunch money :)
Always loved JPM's style of racing. More drivers should drive like him.
Damn I know Juan is fast with anything with a steering wheel but I did not think he would win in this sim race. I did not think he had enough time behind the sim to be able to beat more experience sim racers. Man did he proved me wrong. Three of those guys run gokarts and are fast on there own. Well I guess I will see some of those guys at the track. Good run Juan I am speechless
I wish JPM stayed in F1 a little longer!
I wish he had a car that was within 95% of the Ferrari.
@@mikejackson9585 In 2003, Williams had the best chassis and BMW the most powerful engine.
@@patrickanderson9023 NO... that wasn't the best car. Best engine, maybe. The car was good, but had 4 wins compared to Ferraris 7. It DNF'd 6 times... not the class of the field by a LONGSHOT. The real sign of a dominant car is its second driver. If the second driver does well it's a dominant car. Ralf Shuchmacher had an incredibly difficult time with that car.
@@patrickanderson9023 wth are You talking about? From 00-05 Ferraris were spaceships
@@mikejackson9585 Wrong. The Williams FW25 is widely regarded as one of the best cars to never win the WDC, and Williams had by far the best package that year. But politics from BMW to priotice Ralf cause he was german, conflicts between Williams and BMW and the Michelin gate meant that they could not win the title.
Sims have come a long way. I need this setup in my game room.
want to see all current F1 drivers do a sim race against each other
This proves one thing: F1 drivers are supernaturals.
Montoya is a long time retired F1 driver, ran in Nascar for a few years, and now runs prototypes. Even in the down part of his career, he is a better racer than all those kids that are in the simulators. Even better than young talents, like Fittipaldi, that are trying to reach F1.
To just reach F1, you MUST be not only above average, you must be above the best of the best, and to be a race or championship winner, you must be at the top of the top level drivers. And JPM won some races and made his mark at F1 (top of the tops).
He's still got it, what a legend Montoya is
Rubens Barrichello sons Eudardo Bareichello 3rd place not bad young man.
Is it me or the graphics looks slow and laggy?
I know right? Power Point slideshow framerate
where can I see the whole race ?
I remember the days when Montoya was so aggressive in Formula 1
Those were the golden days of formula 1 for me (i was about 21 back then!)
God i miss 2000 to 2005
😭😭😭
Legend. Loved JPM .
O CARA QUANDO É FODA É FODA MESMO. GRANDE MONTOYA. PILOTAÇO.
JPM siempre una leyenda al volante.
Awesome simulator, I am curious to know how sensitive it is to the real thing. Or maybe we could install a master cylinder on the simulator in order to adjust the response and hydraulic resistance that accrue within the temperature changes, car to down force resistance. Curious to know how much adjustment the driver has to personalizing setup.
Where can you watch these races and events?
This is amazing! 👍
JPM isnt just a formula 1 driver he raced NASCAR IndyCar and Prototypes and has had success in every series truly a multitalented driver who has seen success in multiple disciplines.
Where, exactly, was he 'successful' in NASCAR? He won a couple of road course races (as you might expect for an ex-F1 driver) over the course of several years, but he did absolutely nothing noteworthy anywhere else other than running into a jet dryer at Daytona.
@@JohnJ-fj2xe He raced a lot of disciplines and got victories. Why are you hating on him so much? He's definitely had success, more so than many other drivers.
@@nawaal4452
My point is that he was not as dominant as many would suggest. Seven F1 wins in 5-6 seasons is not much for a driver who supposedly had that much talent. Only 2 wins in NASCAR that were both on road courses over the span of how many seasons? He was good, but never dominant.
@@JohnJ-fj2xe You're right! He was super aggressive though, and a treat to watch. I wish he got a championship
@@nawaal4452
Fair enough.
But agressiveness doesn't usually win championships. Just ask Stewart, Prost and some others.
I want to see Montoya racing f1 again
Wow, I really didnt expect one of the real drivers to win, but that says a lot about the wheels and quality of the sim that its becoming so similar, a pro driver feels comfortable enough that quickly. I have races GTSport/GranTurismo series since the late 90s. I am often the top of the country/continent in lap times. I think I need to get over to AC and Iracing though
Get well soon and get back to the track soon Correa!
You are the number one, juan.
Anybody remember that press conference? 😂
JPM is a legend. Loved him in Nascar.
once an f1driver the intensity of the reactions is stuck with him forever
JPM. A living legend showing how drive a true F1 warrior in virtual world. Proudly Bogotan.
Juan Pablo was a F1 World Champion Material. Sadly he never had the equipment to materialize that
He had in 2003.. but BMW favoured Ralf and there was a sour relationship between Williams and BMW at the time.
Cool to see the oldtimer win. Looks like a fun guy Montoya.
Thanks so much for share this with us, I allways has this doubt.
1999 ans 2000 CART Seasons, Montoya was simply on the other level. And Zanardi in 1998. Golden age for US motorsport.
Kudos to the Gaming industry. Very lifelike.
¿En qué simulador estaban compitiendo?
Great seeing just how realistic the sims are. If you can race a real car, those skills are properly transferable into the gaming setting.
But do the skills transfer the other way.... ?🤔 stay tuned to find out.
Juan is a beast still 💪 Haven't watched entirely since it was just uploaded, but I'm gonna say yes lol.
Edit: Spoiler
Yes lol
What kind of setup are they using?
Awesome vid but still second best Juan Pablo Montoya moment, still can’t top hitting that jet dryer in Daytona instant classic
One of the most unlucky moments of all time.
Grande Juan!
It's a credit to the game developers really as if it was unrealistic then the gamer would thrash the real race driver but as its such a realistic sim the race drivers skills are still relevant.
*EL MEJOR PILOTO JUAN PABLO MONTOYA*
En pista y en juegos
Wasn’t a fan of Montoya but boy was he a fast driver! Respect Juan!
"I cant believe the intensity!": 2:52
When you need to work for that check
Formula 1 racers basically grow up into racing from winning the championship in karts into winning the championship in various classes. They invested tons of time to be at the top of the world. When they 'also' become F1 champion it's like having an elo rating of 2100 in Chess and meeting Kasparov or Carlsen. There is an illusion of a chance but reality puts you on the ground.
I think Juan is more like a racing driver than an f1 racing driver... he got the attitude for racing... not only f1 but overall. You can call him the man of the culture.
Montoya rompiéndola como siempre.
King 🏁👌🏼
What kind of rig were the drivers using? Link to get them as well please?
They were on AllIinsport rigs- about $30k a pop! Check out Juan giving one to a lucky prize winner, czcams.com/video/B7fCJkWX3MU/video.html
It’s crazy how the cream always rises to the top. Well done JPM
Surprised at his race craft ?????????????????????????????????????????????????
What a fun life to play that game for a living !!
2:18 Juan Pablo's laugh was similar to the one in Williams, "oh deer wkwwkwkwk"
where can u buy a simulator like that ?
Dat replay frame rate though...
Love Montoya, imo this guy has the biggest balls in f1 racings
Which game is this
When was this! I live close by... Awwwwwwww I would of love to go!
maravilloso por Montoya considerando lo poco apegado a la realidad que es aun el software
One si a Racing animal!
Good pilot
Love from colombia
He won Indy 500 coming from the back of the field, held the fastest F1 lap in history during 14 years, won in Monaco, Monza, Silverstone, Hockenheim and Interlagos, won 3 times the Daytona 24H, is the current champion of the IMSA Championship and that kid still didn't hope him to win? Boy, you've just earned a lesson of reality, real life racing is always harder than a simulator. 😉😉
what a beast
Of coarse F1 drivers past and present have a lot of experience with sims. I saw one recently and it looked bloody difficult to drive, as it should be if you're trying to simulate an F1 car.
Nothing beats experience
Man Juan wins even In a video game he's not human.
Nice to see JPM having fun with this - crazy talent and I rooted for him back in early ‘00s with BMW.Williams but Ferrari with their specially made Bridgestone tires kept him from ever really achieving F1 success. Just remember him getting pole and Schuey passing him during race every time
The Bridgestone tyres kept him from achieving f1 success!? You must be kidding.
Nope :) Far as I’m concerned that Ferrari-Bridgestone partnership was the main reason they won from ‘00-‘04. Was a long time ago and I’m getting old though so who knows hahahah
@@DEE-qu5mc i guess you didn't know that Ferrari got the FIA to ban the Michelin tyres in 2003 because they were getting beat so badly. Handed Schumacher the title instantly and robbed Montoya
@@StreetComp No,It was a mixture of things. Why Schumacher destroyed the opposition is because of a neutral chassis, particularly 2004. If you read about his driving style, you'll understand, he was was on a knives edge every lap.
@@monstalova I find that amusing, that it was Bridgestone who stopped Montoya achieving f1 success lol. No, it wasn't the brilliant driving of Schumacher and Ross Brawn as technical director, Rory Byrne (chassis), Paolo Martinelli (engine), it was Bridgestone.
Why him anyway? Kimi finished on 91 points compared to 82 for Montoya in regards to the 2003 season.
Obviously there was an issue, I find it hard to believe that Ferrari would be lapped as had occurred in Hungary, so the front michelins must have been 8mm or so wider.
one of the best F1 driver! i was his fan.
What iPad app was he referring to? 1:14

HOW THE FUCK DID MONTOYA WIN?? This is not real racing and you get no feel from the car and yet this guy wins against people that spend every waking hour for years and years.........wait a sec as I was writing this I remembered that Montoya was a huge proponent of racing sims to hone his craft.Still that is amazing and shows his abilities for me bigly!!
Montoya vs Schumacher back in the day was box office
I didn't expect you to win, nooo but I used to beat michel schumacher off the line.
That Montoya guy looks pretty good, he should give professional racing a shot. He seems like he would have great speed in an F1 car that would have had a BMW P82 in it!
Lol big difference between a game and the real thing son.
