Very timely Information. Leaving on a six day trip tomorrow, using a toy hauler, I was needing to know how to carry the spider safely. I will be using this. Thank you.

Only thing I would add, I'd drive about 25 miles and recheck your rigging. Some times a little movement may put some slack in a strap. It also makes me feel I did a good job the first time. Ride safe.

When you chris cross your front straps if something happens to one of them you can lose all tension on the other and the can am will move. Tension them straight forward and it will keep tension even if 1 breaks. If you are worried about side to side use a 3rd strap.

left to right and right to left stops the bike from going side to side.... straight does not do that.... just my way to do it....to each is own..... have a great day, thanks for the input.

A loaded trailer distribution is recommended to be 60/40. So if your trailer and load is 1000 lbs , 600 on the front and 400 on the rear. this will give you a 200 lb tongue weight. This will tow like it is not even there .

I own a 2020 Spyder RT Ltd. I'm interested in buying a toy hauler and have been looking at the Aluma utility trailers. What would be the smallest sized Aluma (or other brand) trailer you would recommend hauling my Spyder?
