Light set ups. But the set ups are cost.
Curious, so in order to make a super decent nice CZcams setup as a content creator one needs to invest about $1600 give or take without the camera and lense? It would be nice to include a list of a total package needed and cost for viewers and those what are interested in making/creating their own channel :)
i don't understand it, you making a 43 minute long video, and not mentioning a single time that ALL!! of your videos! are being color corrected! wtf ! why and how dare you not saying it? people are watching you and they definitely need to know that! yet you keep this a secret ? unsubscribing and dislike from 3 accounts
I am just getting an idea when watching this if there are anybody out there who acts like a youtube studio consultant the same as interior decorators work but for youtube, You just tell him/her your budget and they set up a youtube studio for you according to your budget.
I know someone you helps setup podcast studios. He charges $11K.

Dude straight up, I never comment. But Nolan’s set up is heaven for me. I am not into tech at all. But the quickness he is able to go from I want to make a video To record is the most valuable thing to me. Need that frictionless in the moment flow.

I honestly want to say thank you so much. I have watched over 20 to 40 videos looking for someone to actually shows us. They're set up and what they use to record VS doing a unboxing or review of a camera while shooting or recording from another Nolan set up Would be perfect for my CZcams channel.

these are all great ideas and some i had already implemented! I have a fabric back ground that i can move out of the way that is one of my 3 walls. I also found some great disk shaped detachable sound proofing at ikea!

This is kind of a weird idea, but I use a Newer light stand, but it can also be used as a C stand for both the camera and the light

Really cool filming station. I have a wonky bedroom with only 1 blank wall. the rest is a full wall of closet and the other two have windows. I want to use that bedroom as my studio, but not sure how to maximize the minimal wall space I have and still get a background in my shots. I noticed you have a window in the room that lets some light in. It made me think I might be able to do the same think. Cool ideas here.

20:20 hilariois I love it 🤣 I use a tension set up that is meant for a backdrop to create a DIY curtain barrier for my space it’s nice cuz you can have a curve and get squared angles covered

I’d say put a blanket of something you like or a shade to diffuse the light a bit would help. Something that speaks about you or the brand you’re trying to build.

great question! if you plug in your camera using a hdmi capture card you can totally use Quicktime or Streamyard to capture your video from your camera. For the BEST quality, recording video on an SD card will be the way.

Great video with practical tips, thank you. Question: How to apply your set up to live-streaming musicians like myself? My audio comes from mixer to Irig stream pro audio interface to phone or computer. The audiointerface needs to be close to the computer or iphone. I want to upgrade to a pro camera like your Sony, but I don't want latency. Also the using the iphone as a camera is another option. Any help would be appreciated.

I think this is a great idea, but another video where you show how to set up a studio on a budget for people new to CZcams would be good. Some of the kit these guys now use will be out of the price range for a lot of those just starting out.

For videos like this, if I had a dynamic mix like a rode podcaster I need the mic in the shot. Can you talk about how you would do a dynamic mic set up like this? You and Nolan both use shotgun mics out of frame

When you record for you tube, do you record through obs or do you record directly from the camera? I record through obs, but also realize that I giving up on visual quality.
Usually directly to a camera unless we are livestreaming!
