Everybody reading this is too young to remember High Noon.
……or The Searchers!
I liked them and agree that Once upon a time was a great movie
I agree with you. Do a top ten. And I bet Butch Cassidy and the Sundance will be in there
Om surprised Open Range made it. I saw it on a long haul flight about 10-12 year's ago anf thought it was very good.
My personal list would have included: Once upon a time in the west, the man who shot liberty valance and the great silence. But The good the bad and the ugly is a deserved number one pick
A few people mentioned Liberty Valance and Once Upon a Time, so I'd say those are honorable mentions.
The original 'The Magnificent Seven' is still number one for me, even though it was made before I was born.
atta boy, someone my age
"Long Riders"
Once upon a time in the west….should make the top ten and pale
Rider
Quigley Down Under with Tom Selleck should have been number 4 or 3. Eastwood deserves the top spot with Good, Bad, Ugly my all time favorite. I agree with the rest.
Lonesome Dove beats all of them!
Show Tombstone as my favorite. What with your vote, Tombstone wins!
Note the persistent presence of Robert Duvall. LONESOME DOVE is the best western of all time. I challenge anyone to defy that claim.
Totally agree.. not sure about 5. 🤔 should be pale rider...👌
I thought Pale Rider would finish higher, but managed just a few votes surprisingly.
The Shootist
not a bad list, but The Outlaw Josey Wales is the best
