Bishop Ford was amazing! His preaching style was unique. After Bishop J.O. Patterson’s penchant for high church and formal vestments, Bishop Ford took the church back to basic holiness. He was also an excellent golfer. He left the golf course with a lot of Joe Louis's money in his pocket.
I can remember meeting him in passing as a young child at a meeting in Lexington Mississippi at saints academy! He took out time to talk to me and shake my hand. I'll never forget bishop Ford
