- After the death of the first Presiding Bishop, Bishop J.O. Patterson, Sr. in December of 1989, The General Assembly of the Church Of God In Christ elected Bishop Louis Henry Ford as the second Presiding Bishop. I was a Sophomore in college in at Atlanta, GA. when I made this video, witnessing history in the making. Mason Temple was electrified by Bishop Ford's acceptance speech. That day was the launch of his tenure. May this be a blessing to generations to come. Supt. Danny Jefferson, creator

The more I study into the legacy of Bishop Ford he has become my favorite presiding bishop of the Church Of God In Christ of all time!
This part! The more I learn about Bishop Ford, the more it almost saddens me that the church didn't keep going in the direction he was headed. He was taking COGIC back to the Bishop Mason days; where there was power!!

Bishop Ford was a simple man, who hated all the pomp and circumstance Bishop Blake has implemented in the church today!
Just as Bishop Ford was called, so to is Bishop Blake... He is led by GOD for this season, so any disagreement is between you and the LORD!!!@!
Bishop Blake is actually a peoples Bishop just like Bishop Ford.

@@tkc5898 You have your opinion and I have mine. They're both humble. Bishop Ford was known to go in the street and feed the hungry and did so for decades. I don't know if Blake goes out there although he has multiple programs to help people.
