oh I feel this 100%. I repeated patterns from my childhood and kept wondering why I kept being used and drained of my energy. I'm 46 now and have recently figured this out. I remember being excited about new things since childhood to adulthood and just having everything shot down. And then I married someone like that and then my oldest child ended up like that and I had to cut ties. I finally had my eyes open. (Almost 8 months ago and also 8 months into my healing journey).
I have the whole line of narcissists too; then i realized the core of that was from my mom and sister, most of my family. I think I've finally learned to not make excuses for others that treat me badly. If anyone doesn't treat me like i treat them, i release them from my life. Another spot on reading 🎯. Pile 2: I didn’t have a narcissist in my family, so I was especially confused when my ex behaved so strangely. My father was abusive too, but he's not a narcissist, so I actually prefer him to my ex in a sense. He didn't play mind games and he does show a limited amount of love at least.
I guess it's a lesson, but it's been so frustrating dealing with these people. I fluctuate between feeling stronger and feeling defeated.
I never want to deal with this type of person again, I can confidently say. They did completely break me down, but I'm building myself back up. I currently feel very anxious around love, I don't want another person like my ex. I was betrayed by this ex and I'm very wary of people now.

I couldn't even wait to listen to the tarot part. If ever there was a gift of a reading, this is it! I have had this dream for a few years of being able to purchase rural property with a big house as my sanctuary in nature. A few years ago, I drew the house, plus a guest house and a combination sound and art studio. I figured I was just fantasizing, daydreaming, and I tucked that drawing away. But a few months ago, I got the idea that the property would have a path from the sanctuary to a spiritual retreat center. I've now drawn the sanctuary plus the spiritual retreat center in my crude way, but I've never seen it as something that could actually come true, thinking there would never be financing for it. My dad, my sister, my brother (my mom is a mix of narcissist, energy vampire and victim), my mother-in-law (kind of like my mom) and my cousin-in-law are all narcissistic. Some of my friends in the past were narcissistic, too. Their energies had grown into pain in my lower back and my hip for more than a decade. I cut off my in-laws many years ago because their characters were very obvious to me. Then I realized that I had to cut off my family as well to recover myself. I can't wait to heal completely.

30 years ago a guardian showed me my totem/spirit animal, it was an otter, this reading so similar to a previous reading pile I chose, an old, old house, in nature, surrounded by ancient energies that I draw on.
