mine died at 5am yesterday unexpected , I wish I had more time to have visited her , she lived in another state and it seems we think tomorrow I will go and I guess we all are guilty of putting off things until it's to late and the younger generation seems to not acknowledge their grandparents despite everything they did , I learned a valuable lesson because I have never lost anyone close till now ,so never put off family over kids sports or money ,it's truly not worth it and one day if we live long enough we will be their age and it would be awful to not have family visiting due to they put their lives first and chased the dollar .

She had told us one day that if we ever smoked or did drugs, she'd come back to haunt us. We didn't take it very seriously the day she told us. I'm only 15. I was in 6th grade when she passed. I now regret not telling her how much I love her and not being able to see her as much as I wanted to. She knew her time was coming to an end that day, yet we didn't. It's funny how the people you hold dear are the first ones to leave you. I didn't get to see her before she passed in that hospital bed. I was devastated and sat in my room after my dad had to tell us she passed because my mom couldn't bring herself to do so. I still cry til this day just thinking about it. I'm 15 and still cry about all my memories I had with her. I now think about what it'll be like when I lose parents, siblings, friends. But I just tell myself, it'll all be fine that God knows what he's doing. I miss you grandma. I wish you were still here with me now. I wish we could still be together. I lost her when I was 17 Dixie Brooks March 16, 2016. Looking at my dad and saw how hurt he was and how he just couldn't stop crying. We lived upstairs from her. Me and my sister were at the funeral and we saw her, laying down peaceful, but we were scared. We were scared to say goodbye. The last thing my grandma said to use was she loves us and always will. That day when she died, they looked at her body. It looked like she was trying to fight it, but she lost in the end. Knowing that she wanted to be here with her family makes me even more hurt. My brother who's 20 now, couldn't believe it and I me he read him crying, but he did that day and at the funeral. I still can't go down in her house and just look at it. Its hard for me and my sister. I never thought she would die at the age of 78, but she live a good life. Always end to church and she loves us so much. Even me typing this I can't help but cry. March is here and the 16th is coming soon. It will March 3 years since she's been gone. We would always sing when I was little to each other. We would always sleep downstairs in her house. She was a big part of my heart and she's gone. I love her and I hope she's watching over me and my whole family😥😢❤😇
