So whack so corny and so cringey
I love how the Albanians refuse to sing in english and keep it in their native language. Preserving their culture, proud of their language and traditions, just like we portuguese. Love how they sang as a family, gives me goosebumps. Really great song, for me it's in my top 3 this year. đ”đčđŠđ±

10th place from the Televote , juries killed it
Juries are tone deaf or just ridiculous. Thank goodness televote gave top 10! Fantastic song!đ
â@@blondboybc8552Juries this year we're clearly bought by Sweden, as it's been done every year since 2012 considering that they've been in the top 3 of the juries 9 times in the last 11 editions and that's quite ridiculous. What concretely matters for me it's the televote, and they really deserved it.
My grandmother loves this performance. No matter how many songs I played for her this year, she stayed on this song. I'm agree with my grandma, it is pure culture! Love from Azerbaijan! đŠđżđŠđ±

A BIG shame for European juries voting for generic English songs rather than good songs in their national languages, which is the point of Eurovision!

One of the most underappreciated entries this year. I got goosebumps listening to this.
I think this is one of those moments that remains timeless and iconic in the Eurovision history because there is an entire family on stage singing all together. How often does that ever happen in Eurovision? The harmonies between all of them are so pure and melodic. Wish juries would have appreciated them more!
It's nice to see how they represent their own country by singing in Albanian. The iconic melodies were incredible !!

Albania was one of the surprises. Not for me. It is one of the most wronged countries in recent years in Eurovision and it certainly deserved a place in the grand final. The only song in this contest that has e meaning, which is: "Just because an obstacle appeared in front of you, id doesn't mean u should stop". The song is about loving ur family, not giving up on your love of your life just because a mistake or misunderstanding, u have a family at home, u have kids on the table eating food, u have someone to care about as u used to do, do not give up, think about the good times, the times u really loved each-other, do not break a wonderful family, do not ruin the life of ur kids and ur future. The voting system is fake. The jury should vote based on the quality of the vocals. This one has incredible vocals and musical values yet they didn't vote.
I believe 21,6% of this year's entries had ethnic influences (with this one being the most ethnic) and only 4,4% of the juries were experts in ethnic music. This is where it went wrong.
even then it wouldnt work because alessandra placed lower than she shouldve because her vocals were a little off in the jury performance. imo the jury wouldnt exist altogether but thats a separate conversation
@@rocaydran Alessandra's song is not ethnic. Literally only the bridge is.
And imo the juries should only judge parts of songs that correspond with their expertises (so e.g., take S10's "De diepte": there should be juries who are experts in ballads, country, production, lyrics (provide a translation if necessary) and vocal ability. And not judge the performance as a whole. Because e.g., yes - they can judge ethnic songs, but if they're not experts in ethnic music, then
1) They don't know if it's being executed well enough.
2) They tend to lean more towards entries with music correspondending their expertise and ignore the other songs.
But we need juries, 'cuz the public doesn't understand music as much as professionals do.
There's a reason why the juries came back after 10 years.
@@im.joeyb. i never said it was ethnic i was replying to the original comment in relation to judging based on vocal quality. because while alessandra sang very well in her final performance apparently her vocals weren't as good in her jury performance, which cost her a higher placement in the jury vote

Anyways, greetings from France!

@@Cszmrtnz yeah i'm also sad that France was so low:( i would have said top 10 minimum
Sooooo trueee!! It's because she isn't singing English that the reason true!! But this was really beautiful Albania, love from Turkey!âŁïž
The reason it's so low is that it's not about being good or bad, it's about whether it's in English, an other popular language or not.
However making a contest in this regards also damages the self-esteem of minorities' and smaller nations' cultures and connected with it their language.
Then that results in less songs being written in other languages than the popular ones most importantly English.
More or less Eurovision, instead of uniting Europe while a united Europe has been given the view of being united in diversity, is more like uniting it under the English banner.
You could also say Eurovision makes music more English whilst also creating conflict with local cultures who get their unique Music culture and unseperatable from that their language taken away. The people get their pride taken away and their self-esteem when it's about their own cultures making them believe in being inferior due to that reason, especially when their language always lands in the bottom.
That's not a fair competition that's assimilation.
@@jonasarnesen6825 well its not about language at all. In 2021 for example top 3 was not in english language
