- In this video we travel to Krakow to to visit their famous Christmas market. this market is supposed to be the best one in Poland. We try lots of the market food and give our opinions of what is great and what you may want to not buy. The markets has around 80 stalls with lots of handmade products.

Looks fantastic! I love Krakow’s Christmas market. Very classy and the setting can’t be beat. As others mentioned Wrocław Christmas market might be a better fit for your son.
Krakow in general is a wonderful destination for families with kids with many attractions including the famous Wawel dragon cave and fire breathing statue, many legends, parks, the Underground Museum, superb Brigs & Figs Lego museum , fantastic day trips and more. Btw, Toruń is the best town for gingerbread. The tradition dates back to the 13th century.

Obwarzanek krakowski is a testimony to tradition. The first mention of this product can be found in the accounting books of the royal court from the 14th century. The dough is first steamed and then baked. Bagels also come from Krakow. Krakow Jews started baking them in the 17th century. Bagels were given to women on the occasion of a successful delivery. Emigrants brought bagels to the United States in the 19th century. Today they are a symbol of New York.

The biggest and best Jarmark is in Wrocław with attractions for children. There are also plenty of attractions for children in Katowice and Gdańsk.

I prefer cranberry on my sheep cheese and also pierogi is plural so no need to put an s on the end
