The Rebel Alliance had plenty of heart and hope, but it lacked experience in carrying out a war. In the early days of the galactic civil war the rebels relied on a handful of veterans to build the alliance's military doctrine and structure. These individuals were able to lean heavily on their experiences from the Clone Wars.

Shame that Yularen wasn't part of this list as part of the Rebel Alliance. Imagine him meeting Luke Skywalker and he would be relieved that the boy would listen to his advise in training and battle, along with telling stories about his father Anakin.

Yeah since R2s memory was never wiped, he had a databank on every strategy the republic used and even had designs of republic ships/vehicles that grievous was trying to capture R2 because of the sheer amount of information he had

He specifically said to have the protocol droid’s mind wiped, R2 even laughs at 3PO, who is worried by what is about to happen to him. R2-D2 never had his mind wiped.

Both sides were played by the bigger threat in the end but came together to hasten its downfall. I still wonder if Kalani helped out after the first Death Star blew up.

Last time I was this early the Republic didn’t have an army
Admiral Yularen was one of the best characters in the Clone Wars. It's sad that he chose the wrong side with the Empire and died on the first Death Star. He would've helped the Rebels to fight against the Empire.
He was an Admiral in the ISB.

Both Cody and Omega will working together on Rebel Missions in between 19 BBY and 5 ABY.
What about Cham Syndulla? He showed up in rebels. And Numa, one of his fighters, is the girl Waxer and Boyle met on Ryloth. They're both veterans of TCW and became rebels
Chewbacca, but also chieftain Tarful where both clone wars veteran rebels, Tarful continued fighting against the early imperials, getting help from Saw Guevrerra
Cal kestis, who would also go in this list as he was padawan to Joro Tapal in the clone wars and Cere Junda a jedi knight during the clone wars both earn their place as part of the rebellion in Fallen order
You missed cham syndulla, remember he fought the separatist movement along side windu and would later have a localized rebellion in ryloth
Obi-Wan didnt fight with the rebels though, like yes, he did get Luke off Tatooine, helped rescue Leia and confronted Vader but that doesnt mean he served the rebellion, he didnt want to get involved in another war that had no business existing
Technically, with the kenobi series he was tasked by a rebel leader to save their daughter. So he was a rebel agent for a short time.

R2-D2 and R2-KT two 501st veterans. I'm not sure what R2-KT did during the Empire Era but R2-D2 a pretty badass veteran and did a lot for the Rebellion
Also you could add 3PO, although 3PO was a protocol droid and didn't fought
What about General Kalani? He and his troops did fight the Empire for a brief moment as well!
Don't forget Rex also fought on Endors moon during return of the Jedi

If you were to write military doctrine for 21st century US, China, Russia, or any other interesting country without changing their political alignment too much.
P.S. Feel free to choose between real life or Star wars military equipment (whichever is more entertaining).
While that would be cool, they're a Star Wars channel. You might try Generation Films, same group of people but they focus on more than just Star Wars.

It’s a shame that Rex is on here. Sure I wouldn’t have been a commander without him, but I respected Rex.
Well, have you ever heard of Clone Force 99? They’re a team of enhanced Clone Commandos who unsurprisingly ditched the empire, knowing their streak.
However, they are not to be underestimated!
Hunter has Enhanced Senses which means he can detect threats anywhere!
Tech has an Enhanced Mind making him capable of multiple battle strategies and weaponry!
Wrecker has Enhanced strength and he’s massive; and he can be terrifying when he wants to!
Echo, who used to be a member of 501st now has Enhanced Cybernetics on his left arm and around his head all gained from his time in Techno Union!
Lastly they gained a young female clone going by the name of Omega, she served as Nala Se’s Medical assistant but is now a skilled Arrow Shooter with specialized precision acting in place of the enhanced sniper Crosshair who serves the empire!

No Cal Kestis or Cere Junda on this list? Fallen Order and now Jedi Survivor are considered part of the official canon timeline.

Wait in one of the books it says that captain Rex and other clones fought the empire on Endor, other than Wolf do we know what other clones could be there?

Makes me wonder if any former Separatists fought (even if unwillingly) for the Empire. The non-humans are unlikely to make it anywhere, but plenty of humans fought for the Separatists for less than idealistic reasons and might have gone with the better paycheck.
Imagine the power team that would be Admiral Thrawn and Admiral Ackbar.
Why did you not mention that Captain Rex was at the battle of Endor and was the rebel that donned the scout trooper uniform when Han and the others entered the base?

@@mitchell3593 First, oh hell yeah George Lucas DID think up the clones in 1975 when he wrote his giant original script. Why do you think Luke mentioned the CLONE WARS to Obiwan in his house? He may not have given them names back then but he thought of the clones long ago.
Second, have you ever heard of retroactively changing things in the Star Wars universe? For examples: What is now known commonly as the GONK droid was once known as the POWER DROID. What is now known as Pondo Baba was once known a Walrusman. What is now known as Momaw Nadon was once known as Hammerhead and what is now known as Zutton was once known as Snaggletooth.
I can also mention the Weequay species was once just the name of the character from that species in Return of the Jedi.
Lucasfilm people have been retroactively changing names of characters for 40 years, with some based on fan input of some kind. Filoni was the one who created the specific clone characters (with names) for his series. Even at the end of Rebels Sabine narrates that both REX and Hera fought at the battle of Endor.
So, whether you want to believe it or not, YES that is now Rex, former Clone Captain, at the Endor base that got into the Scout Trooper uniform.

I completely agree that without these skilled and/or tactical veterans were essential to the rebellion.
However, the suggestions of this is that palpatine created his own demise through both the clone Wars, and through his abuse of Vader. The suggestion is evil I'd self destructive either in nature or result, and that...I completely agree with

If Ahsoka beat Maul in single combat, then wouldn't that technically make her Mandalore? This whole dark saber thing is confusing. I can think of like 7 people of the top of my head that could lay claim to the throne.
I will never accept that rex is an arc cause of what he says in season 6 bout fives. And that's why hes the arc trooper. It clearly means that he doesnt consider himself n arc so I wont. Thou he may have arc training
