In this video we put together a fuel filter kit making it easier to maintain fuel injectors and really easy to change out fuel filters in 2013 and up ram pickups with the 6.7 cummins.

Best stuff I’ve ever used to lube seals, gaskets or anything fuel related is EZ turn, we use it in aviation it’s good stuff it doesn’t dry, a tube will last forever too!

Did it effect fuel flow? As far as better filtration slowing down the fuel?

How did you lift the frame? I had trouble lining up the bracket with the holes. Bracket was not getting flushed with the frame. Had to abort mission and put stock configuration back. 😏

Had to create separation between frame and body by lifting one side of body, then install then let it back down. You gotta play with it that's for sure. From my memory we lifted from rear passenger side to create the space.

I have that same tool box. So how long did it take? 30-45 minutes?

After doing this kit you don't really need to use it change the one by motor??

So my theory after research is that since this one filters down to even finer microns than the one up front, the effect would be that no it would be impractical to change the one nearest the motor.

Did you leave the factory filter at the motor?

Yes nothing was altered from the motor
