- This is a video highlighting the install of a g&r diesel cat filter kit.
The point of this kit is to eliminate the factory fuel water seperator and the factory engine mounted fuel filter that always make a mess when you change them. PLUS the mopar filters are NOT cheap.
This is specifically for 13-18 ram trucks. They also make one for the 19 and up trucks.

Hey I’m about to do my install this weekend this video is basically the manual I’m going to use I appreciate it I noticed you mentioned using a fleece in tank lift pump is that what you are using ? I’m going to use it on mine just wondering if it’s comparable to a fass or air dog in your opinion thank you for the content I love your channel !
Yes. The fleece in tank pump in my opinion is actually better than an airdog style pump. You don’t have to have anything externally mounted. It’s all factory located but much better than stock.
Did you swap the 90 degree with the extension and the straight barb before the first attempt to install?
Yes. They were on backwards out of the box. I was also missing a fitting. G&R shipped it out and I got it fixed up.
I did and my water in fuel warning is on my dash. Not sure if I missed anything
They make a bypass electrical clip that solves that ….give them a call
Did they say it was just ur kit that was missing the extension? Bc I looked on there website and they don’t have an extension on there. I have a 2016 and I am getting the kit in the mail tomorrow and I need to know if they corrected there mistake by adding the extra extension to every kit

I have not installed that part yet. Soon as I get some time I will be doing a video on that.
Have you installed this delete block yet? I’ve had such a hard time with it. My tank supply line doesn’t line up and want to know if you had to bend your line? Thanms

G&R is pretty good about tech support.
I have high hopes for mine when I install it that it’s goes smoothly.
Thanks for the response. I spoke with the on Friday first thing in morning and they said they would get back to me mid day with a solution and never did and o tried calling numerous times and no one picked up before they closed. My WEF line was to short to hook up along with the tank line, it’s super annoying because that my only vehicle and it’s not done. I might just run the 3 like you and send this thing back. It’s weird on their CZcams page specifically the delete block video they turned off the comments and i can’t find any one on the entire internet and even forums that have documented the install.

The rear filter kit for me was a fiasco. Had to get multiple parts sent to me that were missing.
So I’m not in a any hurry to install the engine filter block

Yes
Does the 2012 4th gen not have that pre filter with a fuel heater like the 2013 -2018?
The early 4th gens have a different setup than the 13-18’s. I know you can delete the engine mounted fuel filter for when you go to a airdog or fass.
Or, keep that filter and run a Fleece in tank lift pump.

Not yet. I’ve been lazy. I’ll get to it this summer most likely.
Did you put the front fuel filter delete on??
I have not yet. I plan to soon. For now it’s got all 3 filters. Been fine all year.

How often does it need to replace the filter?
It’s smart to replace fuel filters often. I do it every 5k miles or so.
Beware of these filter kits, although the filters are good, the BMP assembly puts the water sensor at the top, so when you get that WIF light---you are screwed! I know!!!
This isn’t a BMP kit…
What happens to the water in fuel sensor??
Nothing. It stays unplugged. It’s not really needed anyway.

@@darylfreeman3277 sorry i misspoke. G&R supplies you with a dummy plug that you plug into the WIF sensor. That way you don’t get a light in the dash. I didn’t show that in my video because they didn’t ship the plug to me till later.
