@@freeweights101 The fact that Dak threw the most INTs this season, despite missing multiple weeks says a lot. They have an elite defense, and a great run game, yet Dak, a supposed "elite" QB comes back and throws the most picks in the league. Dak has been and still is overrated. He has good games, but he also can lose you games all by himself. Not saying he is the only problem holding them back, but Dallas will never go to nor win a Super Bowl with Dak at the helm. Dallas needs a solid QB who can protect the ball, and make a few good passes when they need them too, outside that keep running the ball and having a stout defense. The fact Dallas nearly beat the Eagles with Cooper Rush proves this (Rush is by no means the guy for the job, but even with a backup QB Dallas almost beat the top NFC team).
As a cowboys fan I remember being a 5-11 team and 8-8 for years and years..now there is Super Bowl expectations and multiple 12 and 13 win seasons..there isn’t many qbs out there that can qb this cowboys team

Dak’s been the quarterback for 7 years and has routinely shown that he isn’t the guy. He started off very promising and was ascending but has already peaked and his now regressing. He’s had weapons, he’s had chances. It’s time to restart the clock and rebuild with our young pieces. Go get a young QB and see what he can do.

Actually, I think Dak has a shot. There’s a paucity of good QBs in the NFC. All the great QBs are in the AFC, so I believe Dak has a legitimate chance to at least get to a Super Bowl. Winning one is another matter.

The talent and coaching the Cowboys had in the 90s SB run were a once in a lifetime event. It was first since 49ers in the 80s and the Steelers in the 70s. Each of those teams had at least 7 players to go to the Hall of Fame. That's like catching lightning in a bottle. That will probably never happen again.

The problem with Dak is that he's gotten comfortable. There really hasn't been anybody to challenge for his spot. That needs to happen in order to put a fire up under him. He's about to be in his last year of his contract, he keeps screaming that he wants more money, but you need money to build a better line. So either you suck it up and take a lower pay so they can bring in a better offensive line to give the cowboys a chance to actually win a championship, or you get your money and you continue to be mediocre. It's not just about Dak Prescott. It's about an entire team.
