Is there a way to export the diagnostic wax-up to an STL? It would be a great option to have for accurate temporaries and I'm not seeing an option or work-around for it anywhere. Thanks!
I am having a hard time planning a bone supported guide on an over denture implant case for maxillae where most of the teeth are present. Do i only need DICOM files since it is going to be an edentulous case or should I still merge the STL file with the DICOM file for better accuracy
Do you know what version of Implant Studio you are currently using? 2020 is the only version the directly supports bone supported guides. It may not be available in your area yet if it hasn't passed your countries regulatory requirements. If you do have access to 2020, then you just need a single CBCT scan and the software will extract the surface scan by wrapping the selected area of the CBCT scan. However, the current workflow is expecting the teeth to already be extracted in the CBCT scan. There isn't currently a way to extract teeth from the CBCT scan virtually. If you are on a previous version of Implant Studio, then the edentulous workflow is designed to be tissue supported (but anchored to the bone) using to CBCT scans, one of the head and one of an existing denture.
@@12thamir We don't have a good recommendation, but generally we wouldn’t recommend sleeveless guides because the drill can cut through the guide material.

How can I work the surgical gaide without a sleeves please
