- The Gleeok didn't realize you can't beat someone who has SHEER WILLPOWER.

Ha. When I first saw a Gleeok, I had an instinctive reaction that was just like, “Fuck this! I’m fighting ganondorf instead!”
Legendary response
I first encounter a flame gleeok in Rayan Highlands and I was like, "nope wait till I get stronger"
I didnt know we was playing Monster Hunter. This took 3 years off my life from the stress btw
LMAO
Fighting a Thunder Gleeok is like fighting King Ghidorah.
Both scare me
@@megabolt1
me too
When I fought the fire gleeok for the first time on Hylian bridge, all of their attacks one shot me and it took me like 10 minutes to take down
Fighting these things with crappy gear is no joke
My first that was damn godzilka beat ghidorah so bad he went into another universe
gg, it's super hard to beat early game due to lack of strong bows and strong fusion materials. The diamond fused to your weapon (I think it's a giant boomerang?) is slightly triggering me, just get a flux construct grinder (there's a flux construct 1 on great sky island which is super easy to beat) or something to fuse onto your weapon instead of the diamond.
But it looks cool
I was trying to follow in Sokka's footsteps
I just defeated an Ice Gleeok for the first time today. It felt amazing 👏
A goal for real congrats
Fought the fire one on the Hylian Bridge and well didnt have any food and stamina potions so getting kicked of the edge was not fun
There's one on the bridge?? How bad is it in your opinion?
@@megabolt1 first time fighting one, with proper equipment would be easier fight, i still had weapons under 10 with 15 hearts and not fully upgraded armor so its big attack nearly one shot me. Falling off the bridge with a quarter of stamina was fun trying to get back up before drowning, some reason everytime I got to the piller and fell back in the water stamina reset back to a quarter, was able to eventually get back up with ascend.
@LeonGehste hmmm maybe a new video idea. Although maybe I'll need more than 4 hearts...
my first gleeok was a thunder one, in the same location. at that point, i only had decayed weapons, wooden sticks, and boko bows . i defeated it after breaking every single weapon except a royal broadsword. it was worth it tho
I’m not doing any of those fights until I have the elemental immunity.
Makes sense. I haven't fought the fire or ice but imma assume jtll be tough without resistances
Me blaring the Dragon music from Skyrim:
Good music choice mate
Link is a Dragonborn!
I just used the Keese eyes those help a lot especially if you find elemental ones but normal ones are fine too
I had roughly 12 at the time. Life savers. The last phase they followed him to the top
Yeah they’re really good
Keep the good work up 👍
@SoapBuster4023 yo that means the world. You're a real one
Oh gawd. I forgot that eyeballs helps with aiming. I've been manually aiming Gleeok heads when I battle them. XD Sometimes I just forgot that I'm playing TOTK instead of BOTW.
@@lalcimo lol yeah that happens sometimes
Dang I haven’t fought a gleeok yet and I’ve been playing totk for 10 hours ?!!
You got to! They are fun to fight
Haha I stumbled randomly upon my first Gleeok around the Gerudo region and died so, so many times. After figuring out a strat and using the shittiest weapons, I defeated it. It gave me so much satisfaction to the point that I actively searched for the Ice, Thunder, and King Gleeoks before clearing any dungeons or moving the story past the paraglider. It was a tough challenge especially with only 4 hearts and using crap weapons 😂😊
I'm glad to see another person take the challenge and fight a Gleeok early! Congrats man!
Side note: I personally feel like this is specific Thunder Gleeok is by far the hardest version especially with early gear.
You are a legend! That's my goal, to take down the bosses with 4 hearts. I just took on a white lynel and let me tell you it felt so good. I'm thinking of taking on ganon with 4 hearts
The first time I encountered (not even sure if that was my first encounter, to begin with) a Gleeok, it was the ice-element one. I was able to get past the first phase of the fight, which I thought was pretty simple enough of a waiting game. The second phase... that one got to me. I was stumped on what to do considering its flight advantage. In the end, I had to resort using a rocket-boosted jump + Keese Eyes Arrows to aim its ugly heads and bring them down. I'm thankful for the two wheels of stamina that I got early on.
THERES AN ICE ONE? Jesus thats crazy mad props to you.
@@megabolt1 Thanks! Apparently, the Gleeok I mentioned was an accidental meet-up. I was looking for Zelda's Golden Horse in one of those Stable Quests.
@@Asteroux Man there's so much to do in this game I'm excited
The game pushes you to at least meet that Gleeok, because you need the Golden Horse for a sidequest that helps you get into Rito Village, which again, the game pushes you to do that mainquest as your first one.
@@rifasclub Actually, the game doesn't "push" you into encountering the Gleeok or getting the Golden Horse. Neither of the two are needed to gain entry to Rito Village as long as one explores the open world.
Yeah so my first Gleeok was the one in the sky above Hebra. I didnt realize there were single element versions like this until later.
So basically you tortured yourself....
Can you use the thunder helm on the thunder gleeok
Hmmm I'm not sure but I would assume so?
Every time I fight Thunder Gleok, I get hit by lightning from the rainstorm. How did you avoid that? Was your bow and weapon wooden?
Fast reflexes, also use rubber gear.
@@JoseRodriguez-mj1qm You can dodge the lightning from the storm?
So you can unequip your weapon which will stop the lighting from targeting you. My bow was metal but the others were not so I used those. If you make him fall the lighting doesn't target you till he gets up again.
They are impossible for me even though I've completed all regional phenomonon. I always break my gear or run out of arrows.
The best trick is to have Keese Eyes. They automatically target the heads. They take fall damage as well.
@@megabolt1 Yeah but even with those I never have enough bows. I guess I haven't tried in like a month though 💀
@GoogleDilemma I had 4 12 power bows and 1 36 power one. Burned through them so I get it
@@megabolt1 R.I.P
The first time I fought a Gleeok was in the Depths and it was a King Gleeok, and got defeated, though I was more angry at it than scared
Second try I buffed myself, took advantage of a ledge to activate the bullet time and shoot the arrows when I had the chance, and show that scally mother clutcher NOT to mess with me!
There's a king version too? Man props to you that's mad impressive
Wasting a diamond isn't worth it for Gleeok's crappy loot. Use Zonai weapons people, they're the only early game strong weapons you will get consistently.
We use diamonds to flex. But T. Gleeok loot is VERY good. The wings make your arrows/weapons go faster. While the other materials give thunder properties
The general requirement for Gleeoks is having the paraglider to defeat it, and Zonai weapons are trash early game; depending on where you go, you can easily find stronger weapons and monster parts to attach to in comparison.
To an extent, I still agree that Gleeok parts should offer way more attack as they are one of the hardest monsters in the game. However, seeing how piss easy they become with a Lynel bow and with Keese eyeballs, I guess it kind of rounds out (also ice and electric properties are still OP lol).
Gleeok is easy
Not when you only have 12 power bows...
"Gleeok is easy"
>Probably has more than 4 hearts
>Has a strong bow
>Probably has a shield better than a Boko shield
>High damage weapons
>Isn't using a f'in boomerang with a diamond fused to it
Sure bud.
