Not a Man U fan but Maguire's movement was also wrong for the first goal. He should have gone wide after Degea received the ball but he moved inside to where the #6 would be there to pick up the ball. Not only does he receive the ball with his back to the opponent but he also receives it without scanning over his shoulder. But Degea should also have been wiser not to give him the ball even if he was asking for it. Risky play with the last man, being closed down and back to the opponent.
De gea has full view of all the players surrounding Maguire, so for me it's his fault. Just as funny, though!
@@philscott3759 I think the first mistake is how long Maguire takes to pass back to DeGea, and then he cuts across. Just watch how long it takes him, so casual. Imagine what would happen if he ran towards the left bottom corner of the box. The press from Sevilla would be stretched, opening up the middle for Casemiro to come receive the ball. That said, even in amateur games, you have to know it's risky playing it centrally when your defense is stretched, so just clear the ball. Lol, But even then, so many even thens... if Maguire, was a bit calmer and looked over his shoulder, one turn and he would have killed the entire Sevilla press. Just a calamitous list of errors, lol
