Little correction:
[14:02 - Secret Special Build] Wrong coil option indicated not the G4 Barioth Coil, it is supposed to be G6 Anja Coil.

I like this suggestion made by @noob-kun7768 for the Secret Special Build: swap the G6 Anja Coil for G6 Rathian Coil for Burst 1. As you can out-do Special Boost 4 to 5 being 5% increase in damage only on specials to 5% increase in damage for all attacks including specials using Burst 1.
In addition, you can fit in Sneak Attack 1 for a 10% damage boost with attacks from behind (it will apply when your SP hits the tail)
Alternative Secret Special Build:
G6 Barioth Helm
G6 Anja Chest
G2 Girros Gloves
G6 Rathian Coil
G5 P.Rathian Boots
4 Special Boost, 2 Skyward Striker, 1 Burst, 1 Sneak Attack
This build however does not include concentration.

aww thank you 😅 and no… i’m not able to configure a damage chart on mhn.quest for those type of damage skills. (as they are charge up & cast dependent)… i think the only way is manual testing 😅
Love the secret build! I was thinking about concentration 5 with partbreaker before the new weapon came about! But bone weapon dmg seems to be on the lower side though 😢
I love the build too, wish I could craft it 😅 And yeah the bone weapon is definitely on the lower side 😓 This build should work well w the other raw options like blos/bblos! for bblos dbs, since the special can do 2 strong blows on weak spot (head/tail) can be quite negating to the -ve affinity! 😁

I'm struggling to decide whether to go for Black Diablos Bow or Black Diablos Dual blades 😱😱 but your comparison in this video helped me think!
the bd bow would be an obvious option if youre looking to most damage output! (currently the best weapon in the game that out damages even elemental bows). the bd dual blades will not out do elemental dual blade sets though 😅

My DB build is artful dodger 3, and swipe instead of tap since DB's swipe still attack in demon mode. With this u can perfect dodge basically any attack

With the amount of times you are able to use your special attack with DB, i feel like youre better off with Special Boost 5 and Skyward Strider 1. That will make your special hit an extra 30% + extra 10 %, plus an additional 10% if you run sneak attack 1 instead of concentration 2. So when your special would normally hit 4,000, you will instead hit 6,292 on each special (which scales up as your damage inceeases).

will you be recommending the Bone Weapons from 2024 Weapon Ticket? as an alternative instead of Banbaro? (for raw)
since it has high raw values and gives u a skill from the get go instead of locking it behind Grade 8 like most weapons do
I recommend the Bone Weapons for two reasons 😅 Is that it has one point in con at g4 & also it wont take away materials from other ‘important’ monsters like Diablos. But for sure if youre not doing anything with Banbaro, then why not 😆 The best would of course be Diablos/Bblos, as they have highest att power for raw. This build should theoretically not beat the standard optimal builds, so i would say do minimal investment to be safe. :)
13:20 you should swap the Kulu boots for Rathalos boots for wex1 and a whopping 10% more crit chance
Not ideal :(. The additional condition for WEX crits being weak spots will lower total damage output in this comparison - esp since this set does not run lock on. Crit eye will give you crit chance across all attacks - it's safer and also rates higher in total damage output using damage chart on MHN.quest.
Actually, after thinking about it, although the first ice build in 13:20 rates the strongest, you need to really be good with hitting the weak spot. Unless your positioning/full gyro is on-point... it might be tough. So i kinda prefer the second ice build in 13:35 with lock on, it would probably match the first option or overtake.

Dont think bow is s tier.. and bowgun is definitely higher tier than bow for sure
How to achieve "correct positioning" before using Heavenly Blade Dance or what to avoid exactly?
If youre running lock-on, simply cast it and your first attack should land on the spot youre locked onto. (as long as the monster doesn’t escape from you as youre casting 😂) If you land the first hit no worries as you’ll simply move along with the monster even if it moves. (special latches on).
if youre not running lock on, try your best to face the weakspot using full gyro. it’s a lil bit more finicky, but doable.
@@monsterhunternowsg At the beginning locking-on and start hitting but very often HDB not activated. Happened only when stopped hitting for a while, faced to head and started to hit again. During furious hitting on the start often failed because had to evade/move (even locked-on). Triggering HBD is still a mystery to me because unable to run it reliably.
@@georgepush4243 you can only use the heavenly blade dance special in demon mode. when your special is fully charged, tap the button twice to: enter demon mode > cast heavenly blade dance.

What about bone dual blades
bone dual blades have quite low base stats so not ideal if youre thinking about doing most damage in burst 5 raw setup. Bblos & blos dbs have the highest raw att power. If youre looking for absolutely highest damage output, can do black diablos dbs, but really i think if youre gonna do anything with black diablos, choose black diablos bow. the materials are precious and the dbs have no additional perks like for the bow. bblos bow is the top dps weapon rn. as i mentioned in the video, you’ll be fine with regular diablos dbs, so dont worry too much :)
So what about the barioth dual blade are they good?
heyya! they’re inferior to the legiana dual blades. (lower base stats), so not ideal for higher damage output. i wouldn’t prioritise it over legi dbs. the additional skill on it (evade extender) can be helpful but legi also comes with divine blessing so that’s also pretty defensive.
Please check your special build it’s wrong in your infographic. Oh you caught it already lol. You can use pink helm for special 5 instead and rath gloves for lock on and burst 2 as well

Unfortunately it’s an F tier weapon for me because it makes my game really laggy and poor connection error causes me to stand still while stamina depletes… RIP

Is dual blades or longsword stronger ?
dual blades has a much lower skill ceiling as compared to longsword. but both have high damage potential. (you won’t be tapping into LS full potential unless you play well)
currently DB is rated as an ‘S’ tier weapon while LS at a high ‘A’.
Thank you for the reply. Gave up on longsword. Switched to bow and DB mainly. Seem to do better against some with bow. Some with Db. I am new so thinking will focus on bow for now
