    I dig the idea of a fold down console.
    Like you said, it's easy access to any wiring for the accessories mounted there. Not gonna lie to you man, I'm probably going to steal this idea.

      Steal it by all means. Thats why we make videos. Check out some of our other videos, like how to make bubble windows.

      I plan to make my own windows, just have to figure out scale. Your videos are definitely a help.

    I was right in the middle of doing almost exactly what you did...got to the cutting wood part..had to move van to get wood out...realized the van won't start...possibly a stuck piston?? Blew the starter solenoid...no power...yay.
    Wood is stuck in van because van is backed up to a wall...FML..saving money to fix this issue...spent WAY too much on wood, hinges, CB radios..etc
    Being low income sucks

      Start posting videos of your van. The next free candy video is pretty cool and give you an idea or 2.

      10" in the center then it tapers down to around 3 at the A pillar

    dude theres no fucking way thats gonna stay up there with three self tappers on a hinge holding it up

    • @CrossCountryGarage
      @CrossCountryGarage  Před rokem +2

      I am more worried about the pin in the hinge than the self tappers coming out. The side locks would hold it anyway as it can't go side to side. Been a year so far, no complaints. Thanks for watching.

    • @CrossCountryGarage
      @CrossCountryGarage  Před 3 měsíci

      Been 2 years now, not going anywhere. lol. Most of the weight is on the slide pins that go right into the A pillar anyway.

      @@CrossCountryGarage I don't doubt it. As long as you don't hog out those self tappers they hold quite a bit of weight. Especially since it's static weight.
