- Welcome to the beautiful country of Switzerland! In this video, we will take you on a journey through two of the most picturesque villages in Switzerland - Grindlewald and Lauterbrunnen.
First, we will head to Lauterbrunnen, a valley known for its 72 waterfalls and the beautiful Lauterbrunnen valley. This village is a true paradise for nature lovers, and you will be able to take in the stunning views of the valley and the waterfalls. We will also visit the Staubbach waterfall, one of the most famous and beautiful waterfalls in Switzerland.
Next,, we will start our day in Grindlewald, a charming village situated at the foot of the Swiss Alps. You will be amazed by the breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks and the lush green valleys. We will take a stroll through the village and explore some of the local shops, restaurants and cafes.
But the best part of the day is yet to come, as we will be trying cheese fondue for the first time. Cheese fondue is a Swiss tradition, and you will be able to taste the delicious melted cheese with bread, potatoes, and other local delicacies. You won't regret trying it, and it will be an unforgettable experience.

Refreshed my memories of our family visit to Switzerland about 5 years ago. Stayed at Laturbrunnen for 2 nights, 3 days at Chalet Rosa. Stunningly beautiful place. Trummelbach falls was open.

When travelling one gets to try different cuisines. Fondue is very common in Canada. The cheese with bread is common but bread is heavy. U can have it with different types of hard vegetables raw or grilled also potatoes. Do buy the cookware it's quite affordable. Do travel around toronto and within Canada and try different types of cuisines. Fondue means to melt in French.

Hahaha last shot was op!!!! There is a lot to do in lauterbrunen itself u should had gone till end by bus up till muren the village itself is so beautiful u could go behind the fall also … Grindelwald is good but it’s like mussoorie … just gets too crowded and there are a lot of activities you could do there with kidsz the cliff walk, Grindelwald first.
Also, the cheese fondue looked appetizing just one tip- anything dipped in fondue is not directly eaten by the dipping fork.. but it’s first brought to the plate and then eaten using eating fork. As it’s one pot for everyone and it’s not appreciated to dip jhootha fork. Apni hi family ho to chalta hai but just fyi! 😊
Yes. Everything is open in summer but a few things were closed at shoulder months. Also weather was bad at grindelwald first so we only did Jungfrau next day.
