I did intermittent fasting for 6 months, got shredded then started binging and purging through exercise and labeled it as cheat days. It’s definitely tough to start eating freely again and gaining a little weight but crucial for the long term.

I am so grateful for this episode. Thank you so much. I have been tracking for so many years that I feel like I don’t trust myself. I have been trying to figure out a good method to stop tracking and I feel good about the ideas that you have suggested. Grateful hugs to you all. ❤

During the week (4days) I probably under eat in a deficit for calories and on the friday and on the weekend I eat in a surplus (my days that are resistance training free). I have stayed +/- 6lbs for years and my muscle has increased and fat loss is there or plateaued. 15-20% bf percent. Its great. I think if your over weight or obese you need to absolutely count to reorient your poor relationship with food.

You guys are the reason I stopped stepping on the scale every day and go off how I feel , and also the reason I quit crashed dieting because of side effects and weight gain...along with tracking ECT

I’m going to Cuba in a few days, I’ll definitely eat intuitively over there, let’s see if I can keep it after

@@hmok1083 hi, I tried for a few weeks, but with covid and economical changes in cuba food (protein) disappeared and vegetables were scarce. So at the end the only thing I could do was IF.

Is tracking long term ok if you don’t get neurotic about it? I don’t stress at all I just like the data. If I go over or under on a particular day I can just compensate over the next few days.

As long as you are aware and continue to have a positive relationship with it, and it is not taking away from the other areas of your life then theres nothing wrong with it!

You guys gotta let each other talk... Good info but sometimes feels like who's got a bigger brain contest.
