Why do people always get this Wrong? Ethics and Morality are absolutely distinct!! Ethics are governed by authority figures. They are RULES set by human beings in authority only. That is the whole thing why Ethic committees are formed. There are different types of Ethical committees: Business Ethics, Military Ethics, Legal Ethics, Medical Ethics, and so on. None of these are absolute or universal to all human beings. Morality is SUPPOSED to be applicable to ALL HUMAN BEINGS which Ethics CANNOT DO! What is the point of studying Ethics as you define it if it only applies on Tuesdays? By that I mean it is not UNIVERSALLY APPLICABLE. Morality ought to be UNIVERSALLY APPLICABLE! For instance abortion opponents say "Abortion is murder!" they are saying anytime or any place an abortion is performed there is a murder committed regardless of any laws. Morality doesn't mean LEGAL. A law can be immoral and bel legal at the same time. For instance, the Nazi treatment towards Jews and the laws made to persecute them. Laws are made by humans in authority. Morality is not about how hold the higher ranks to make the rules. We already HAVE THAT we don't need to make up more words to what we already have in reality and experience. Why is this needed if it only applies some places and some of the time?
What an incredible piece of work! I recently read a similar book, and it was absolutely incredible. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint
