  • This video is an examination of the Two Shahadas (Testimonies of Faith) La ilaha illa Allah ,Muhammadu Rasoolullah in light of the Quran. The Quran provides evidence for one Shahada which is La ilaaha Illa Allah only. This video provides Quranic evidence exposing the corruption in the Shahadah .

    MashaAllah! The real question is: what was Muhammad's shahadaah? Is it possible that the prophet would make shahadaah to himself? May God guide all who are yet come to terms with the simple fact that God alone is deserving of all praises....

      @@submittersperspective8251 Monotheists, including the Jews and some Christians can say that there is no god except God but this does not make them 'muslim', submitters to Allah, as they are following corrupted scriptures. Allah has revealed the Qur'an and those who follow Him through it are rightfully true muslims, and in order to separate the right from the wrong I do not see why it is wrong to have as an act of declaration of faith the additional wording "and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah". This provides those who want to know what we believe with a clear statement of fact, making it known what we follow which a LA ilaaha illa Allah, does not do.
      It is not belittling this statement, nor an act of shirk to put Muhammad along with Allah in the declaration if you are Qur'an alone as we are not submitting to him, as the LA ilaaha illa Allah clearly states that our Lord and Master to follow and be Guided by is Allah alone.
      There is this verse that adds weight to my argument:
      48:29 Muhammad is God’s Messenger. And those who are with him are stern towards the deniers, and compassionate among themselves. You can see them bowing, adoring (Him), as they seek God’s bounty and acceptance. Their signs (of belief) are on their faces, the effects of adoration. Such is their likeness in the Torah and their likeness in the Gospel. They are like a seed that brings forth its shoot, and then He strengthens it, so that it grows stout, and then stands firm on its stem, delighting those who have sown it. As a result it enrages the deniers at them. And God promises forgiveness and an immense reward to those who attain belief and do acts of beneficence. [The very first sentence in this verse says, Muhammad-ur-Rasoolullah (Muhammad is God’s Messenger.)
      So if the Qur'an can declare this fact, then I do not see why we cannot.
      I repeat, it is not wrong or an act of shirk to make our declaration there is no god except God and Muhammad is the Messenger of God. Messenger and God are not the same, we know that and the declaration says it.

      This is a general statement from Allah
      And we are not commanded to proclaim it. Allah always commands His slaves what to say by the word 'say, in the verse where it is appropriate.
      But the current Shahada does not mean we are committing SHIRK , but we are excluding other Prophets from declaring our faith in them. Allah clearly commands it in several verses.
      Also Allah says He gives testimony to Himself and to 'Mohammad is the messenger of Allah'.
      We are to follow the rulings of Allah only, if otherwise, that would be a SHIRK. Allah is the sole giver of laws . He does not associate anybody/anything with him in giving rulings

      @@reazulabrar9187 It is not a command to say it but I feel it best sums up what we are.
      As for shirk, having Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah does not make it an association in ibadat, unless, of course, you go head long into Bukharianism, hadith and sunnah following/ibadat/obedience. Because of this shirk, keeping away from Muhammad in the shahada declaration would make sense, but in Qur'an alone this does not come into the equation as Messenger gives the Message of Allah, Qur'an alone.

    I always thought that the second part of the shaada was to mean our pledge of allegiance to the ummah of Muhammad in particular, within the larger ummah of monotheism. A political specification, so to speak, not a spiritual one. When it comes to remembering and praising Allah, i never mention no other name, and i find very disturbing when i see some masjid where on the sides of the minbar, in front of you as you are making salat, there's the names of Allah on one side and that of Mohammed on the other.

    • @submittersperspective8251
      @submittersperspective8251  Před 3 lety +4

      Tawheed by definition refers to the declaration of God's oneness . So it cannot have a pledge of allegiance to a human being attached to it . This would mean that belief in the oneness of God is as important as allegiance to Muhammad and that is shirk. Both are separate and should never be together.

      @@submittersperspective8251 in fact, as i said, i always saw it as two different things: a declaration of oneness of Allah, the essence of Islam, and the alliance to a specific ummah throughbits leader. A transcendental alliance, and a worldly one, so to speak: the problem, for me, is when the prophet is attributed the power to legislate in matters of faith, seen as infallible, perfect, or things like that, that put him on a higher stand that he should be and interfere with tawheed, as most followers of hadit do.

      Also what separates a person who believe in the oneness of Allah but not in the Qur'an, from the Muslim who does, if not the fact that the later recognizes Muhammad as a legitimate messenger and therefore the Qur'an as an authentic message? @@musamusashi I don't believe a true monotheist can reject the Quran. Anyone who claims to believe in the oneness of God , cannot possibly reject a message that proves and confirms the very same truth they claim to believe in . As a matter of fact, the Quran is the criterion with which we can recognise true monotheists from the idolators.

    Assalam alaikum brother, what is your view on surah 48, ayat 10 where it says
    Those who pledge allegiance with you (by placing their hands in your hand)- they, in fact, pledge allegiance with Allah. Allah’s hand is over their hands. Then, whoever breaks his pledge breaks it to his own detriment, and whoever fulfils the covenant he has made with Allah, He will give him a great reward.

    • @submittersperspective8251
      @submittersperspective8251  Před 3 lety +4

      W'salam pledging allegiance to the messenger, obedience to the messenger etc is obedience and allegiance to God as he is the Source of the message. However, Tawheed is an entirely different aspect of religion as "oneness", absoluteness are the very fundamental attributes of God and they are what makes him God. No verse or commandment in the Quran contradicts this . When God speaks of his oneness , you will not ever see him bringing a messenger or any creature for that matter, into it. Thus the second shahadah contradicts the concept of tawheed .

    Don't yall believe in the living tradition? Early Muslims had a living tradition before Hadith was written down, it's preserved in Fiqh books and because Fiqh wasn't a united institution there wasn't a good motivation to corrupt it unlike Hadith. Do you believe that all the Islamic history is a lie or something?

    • @submittersperspective8251
      @submittersperspective8251  Před 3 lety +5

      Any tradition that has no support or validation in the Quran cannot be a source of guidance for a Submitter ( Muslim ) . This is our position . If you referring to the jurisprudence, again the source has to remain the Quran alone . Any other book or source that is human made may contain falsehood or error whether intentional or not and thus cannot serve as an authority in Deen. Traditionalists have taken these works as a source besides the Quran and claim that without these works of the past , the Quran isn't complete or capable of guiding the world. This contradicts the very message and claims of the Quran.
