  • How do you run a Rotary Hoe on a very old Ferguson TEA20 Tractor? Its a 1950 Tractor with a relatively modern Three Point Linkage PTO Driven 1 meter Rotary Hoe. They are a bit of a mismatch but it can be done. The plan is till up some ground to grow some potatoes.

Thanks for sharing this, great video! It’s cool to see that rotory tilling can be done with a TE20 without a rare aftermarket reduction box! Just a not quite as straightforward haha.
    You got a new sub!

Nice Old Fergie! I think I might have to find an old Fergie & Retire the Useless Rideon Mower😂 Seems like Quality Soil on your Farm, I'm located Guyra NSW, Plenty of Potato Farmers around these parts! - Cheers 👍🍻

3:32 - those are some great rear tires! I love the deep lugs. We found your channel from a comment you left on another channel. We'd really appreciate if you'd give our channel a look if you aren't already following us. Thanks!

Yes, if its small enough plus soil not too hard.

I think ideally you'd plow with a Ferguson 2 furrow plow and then the tiller would cut it up like butter.. what you're doing is very demanding even on the tiller. IMO. Still did ok for an old little work horse. I get my TEA20 next week!:)

Decades ago but we did block slashing as well as rotary hoeing with a TE 20, and a TE35 or a Fiat. I do not remember any real hassles

    Hi,
Great video. I have organised a rotary hoe for my fergie. The suppliers suggested that the 3PL needs to be extended on fergies with rotary hoes because sometimes the PTO comes off when raising and lowering as the hoe is too close to the rear of the tractor. Did you have this issue and have you extended the connection?

Isn’t there a lever on the left under your seat?
