      I have a Milwaukee M12 stud finder and yeah Milwaukee needs to come out with more tools for their MX platform. The funny thing is that about the time they finally come out with some real tools like a snowblower everybody's going to have these electric trucks that they can plug corded tools into like a corded snowblower and they'll be less demand.

      The ac adaptor would definitely win me over. That and the IP56 rating is literally the only thing keeping me from giving up the metabo HPT platform and the fact I can run both the 36v and 18v on the same battery

      @Got’cha like I said you would need atleast 2 preferably 3 batteries powering it. It would work but that's alot of batteries. Microwaves use 900-1500w of power. A 6ah battery puts out 720w peak power. So you would want atleast 2. A 6ah has 108wh. 3 batteries would equal 324wh. That would do about 20minutes of cooking before all 3 batteries were dead... thats 3 large batteries.

    I am a farmer and the one tool I thought would be cool is a m12 cattle prod. Unfortunately they are seen as inhumane by the general population (Who’s only interaction with cattle is eating a cheeseburger) We only use them sparingly when loading cattle if the safety of workers and cattle will be compromised if we don’t. Cattle prods always take a special battery which you don’t have when you need. Farmers love Milwaukee tools too. Win win

Not an easy thing to find so they dont get into the wrong hands as often as they would if you could go to home depot n buy one for the m12. Idk if an m12 would be able to supply enough power for a cattle, but it may. Would be a fun project to build if it could

      @GraflexGuy Před 2 lety +1

      @@jacksmith2315 when the terrorists crashed on 9/11 did anyone blame Boeing? You can't blame a manufacturer for product misuse. Also, given how much surprising zap you can get from a disposable camera circuit, i'm sure an m12 could do just fine... I can't imagine cheap tasers run more than 12v batteries.

    • @jonny4641
      @jonny4641 Před 2 lety +1

      I agree with what you are saying Jack. But they could offer them at stores that cater to farmers and not every Home Depot. Milwaukee has alot of trade specific tools that you don’t see there. Cattle prods are easy to get in rual towns. Heck my teenage son could go into s farm supply store and buy one and nobody would think twice about it. As far as power goes the m12 would have plenty. Normal one’s use a special type of C battery. Cattle are very sensitive to electricity so it doesn’t take much. A taser hits harder. I realize Milwaukee will never make one, just an idea I have had for a while.

    M18 Radial Arm Saw, yes, you heard it, a radial arm saw is multi functional because you can cross cut massive pieces of lumber and also rip them. Milwaukee can easily incorporate the necessary guards to make it safe to use. Secondly, an M18 portable panel saw that is easily set up on job sites to cut plywood and panel goods. If you're not going to give us a track saw, then the panel saw is he next best thing. p.s. the ones at Home Depot are always broken, so that could be the first place to put a Milwaukee panel saw.

    I'd love it if Milwaukee made the following cordless items:
    1. Remote Control Car: The batteries for remote control cars suck. They are a pain to replace/switch out. Imagine how easy it would be for kids...to just grab a battery and drop it in, then when dead, just grab another. Every Milwaukee cordless tool owner would get one for their kid (or themselves, lol)
    2.) Pressure washer. Obviously wouldn't match gas power, but it would have its place.
    3.) Tailgating blender. I saw a gas one years ago. This would be better. I wouldn't buy one, but a lot of people would. It's a stretch...but...lol.
    4.) A Gen 2 stick vac. The one they made is .... too short, doesn't work on any 1/4 inch + carpet, has filter problems.
    5.) Propane Heater
    6.) Drill Press
    7.) Hot Glue Gun. This is long overdue.
    8.) Paint Sprayer
    9.) Transfer Pump
    10.) 18V tire inflator
    11.) Air tank/compressor (one that holds air vs. just an inflator)
    12.) "Nerf"/dart/foam ball gun.
    13.) Scooter
    14.) The truck/cars that kids age 3 to 7 ride on/drive around. Imagine...say...the remote control car, the ride on truck, etc....it would get a younger generation understanding/seeing the Milwaukee name...and Milwaukee would start pulling in/educating/brainwashing a customer base at the earliest possible age.

    We need a track saw Milwaukee!!! Ive been holding off on the festool in hopes of a Milwaukee tracksaw but I don’t know how much longer I can wait. I want to see them release a track saw with either a buy more/ save more deal or a bundle deal… may be an HD12 battery, a backpack vacuum, and some extension tracks to go up to 8 feet… That would be a sweet package out of the gate!

    The #1 tool to come out should be the MX fuel power tredz dolly for movers and any one who uses a dolly up or down stairs. They could offer several solutions. A basic for the avg person, one for movers with high weight capacities, and one that incorporates the packout stack. Shit that set gets heavy lol

    • @jray5363
      @jray5363 Před rokem

      I just saw the tredz for packout use. It got me thinking Milwaukee could design a stair climbing dolly, if anybody could. Their regular hand trucks seem poorly designed. Average to below average. Handy in a pinch, but not made for real work. Beefing up the tredz to handle real weight is a great idea , especially if incorporated onto an actual appliance dolly. I’ve got a stair climbing dolly I’ve had a few years. I’ve delivered up to 44 front load washers and dryers to 3 story apartment buildings. Those things are 300lbs + , but it did it with no problem. Multiple large fridges, no problem. So I know it can be done! And Milwaukee is the company that could do it! They pride themselves on designing products for specific trades, but they are ignoring the people breaking their backs every day. The customers are out there, and Milwaukee needs to up their game on material handling.

      @@jray5363 and get back to making things "Heavy Duty" lol. For the price you pay for the MX line, they should have hardly any plastic. If I'm dropping $5k on their tall light, it should all be aluminum and steel parts. Those plastic legs are junk, and the telescopic tower is cheaply built as well. The whole light mount should be aluminum minimum. I hope they make the PowerTreds as a stand alone item!!
