Link SharePoint Excel File to PowerBI

This video shows how to link or import data from an Excel spreadsheet saved in SharePoint to Microsoft Power BI. The file can either be saved in the OneDrive SharePoint folder or accessed locally through Excel desktop application.
This video shows how to get the file path that you need to paste in the Get Data from Web option in PowerBI.

Thank you, BUT, even after I've signed in again I'm still getting the error message "We couldn't authenticate you with the credentials provided"

Try using the other options in that popup to sign in.
Otherwise, it is log in issue. You may be using different Microsoft accounts and your PowerBI is confused which account is being logged into

@@ExcelInsights Yeah in the end I had to completely clear my credentials and then add them again (just editing them / resigning in hadn't worked).
