What was your favourite moment of Final Fantasy VII Remake?
You are spot on, my dude. The characters being brought to life is one of the strongest parts about this series so far. And that's not to say there aren't other awesome things here!
It's just so damn gooooood!
FFVII is my favorite of all time too. But I never played Remake until this year. Partly because of falling in and out of gaming, partly because of finances not being able to afford it, part because haters just absolutely soiled it for me. Also my wife wanted to play it too amd we could never get aligned on when to play it.
When I finally played it earlier this year, I was blown away. Man seeing my childhood come to life bigger and more bombastic than before was an amazing experience
That's amazing it blew you away! I've come to learn as well especially with doing CZcams as well, if you wanna play a game, even it's got its haters just go for it! You'll probably have an awesome time with it!
This game is definitely a special one for me. It was the first game I bought for my PS5 and I only picked it up because there weren't many PS5 exclusive titles at the store I bought the console at. 😅

I really enjoyed my time with Remake. I wouldn't say Midgar was my favorite part in the original (Nibelheim), but I was quite taken with the characters in FF7R1, especially Jessie.
I remember watching that E3 live with my wife and going a bit crazy when we finally saw the announcement!
I think the team at SE is doing a good job of giving us 'FF7 but Advent Children' while still making it its own thing. Looking forward to playing parts 2 and 3 eventually!
Honestly that E3 announcement was just unbelievable. Honestly it was like 7am or so and here's me shouting and fist pumping the air jahaha

Rebirth ending has me sceptical. I'm worried that they're gonna make us buy like, 3 interim titles before p3 is released, and the story is gonna be so convoluted that you would have had to beat the three in between games twice and watched every lore video about them to have a chance at understanding what's going on.... WHY THE F did they make the Kingdom Hearts guy the director
