It took a while for the Vermont Sportscar guys to get a Subaru in the top spot, such a shame that they suceess streak was cut short due to electric switch. Great job on the video, really enjoy every second of it.
It really is a shame! I think there’s a place for both ICE and electric in rallycross. The sound and feeling you get when you’re watching in person as part of the experience. Glad you enjoyed the video!

The Subaru huckster is the un restricted version at 870 wheel hp and torque and no the head gasket doesn’t fail. The head bolt stretches at 17lbs of boost with a good set up and lifts the head under boost with arp studs and arp rod bolts. Forged pistons it becomes very reliable at 22 psi boost and 400 wheel torque is what I run on my daily. And that’s quite enough power for a daily.
1:57 I’d be happy with just a stock STI (but w/a Rally Blue Spoiler or rear wing). Both look incredible!

Shame that they never bought these to Europe, that would have given us a true gauge.
Until then I think the VW Motorsport Polo retains the title of "best" rallycross Supercar
Not the recent Subaru car but Subaru Team USA raced in the UK for ARX America Rallycross premiere at Silverstone in 2018
@@dav-id-817 Yeah, I was there for that: I think the cars were still quite a way off where they ended up (and the Beetle was still the superior car in ARX at that time). I think it is fair to say they were the last works backed rallycross Supercars to be developed.
