  • Improving circulation in your pool can help keep particles suspended longer allowing the pump to capture them while in suspension. Today I will show you how I have attached a 1 1/2 inch elbow to help with this issue.

I've been looking for this for a long time i saw this or one like it a few years ago and never could find it again. So that's a 1-1/2" 45 okay!

gave me an idea about my rectangle. Swapped the pump to my old sand filter. Now, my old rectangle was 16x36 and circulation ...sucked. I added a second port at the far end. Will add a second line to go to far end but thinking to use that fitting vice the standard jet port. I will have to try both and see what works best. Thinking to make adjustable so higher up for circulation near the top of lower into pool for bottom circulation. Loven when I had a round because debris would all end up dead center, easy to clean. Rectangles and long curved end ones wont do that.

I’ve always felt having the water go in a circular motion would also cause dirt and stuff on the bottom to go to the middle of the pool so I been manually moving my nozzle ever so often.

Yes it helps a lot. I'll actually get my kids to do a whirlpool before they get out. Lol 😆.

Sorry, no video. But there are many Dremel videos on CZcams that may help. I used the Rotary Dremel with the sanding drum. I simply sanded the interior of the elbow, checking after a few passes of the fit.

you could use heat gun no dremel needed

Hmmm, that's possible. I wonder if when it cools would the shrinking make it too tight to remove?

How did you remove the cap? I’m scared it will start leaking if I get forceful with it
