@yahaya nurudeen you mean what would be my choice between GSXS and GSXR?
@yahaya nurudeen I would buy the GSXR because of better wind protection :)
@a-a-a4240 gsxr is a sport and f is sport touring, two different bike ...
Do you have any problems with bike?
@@mm-hq4qh it's not my bike, so I don't know it
Hello, I'm from Vietnam, I really love large displacement motorbikes. Although Vietnamese streets are full of small motorbikes, these motorbikes on Vietnamese roads can only move gently on the gas. and there are a series of bends. With the chaos of pedestrians crossing the street, the small alleys full of turns, even great riders like Rossi 46 when coming to Vietnam shook their heads, this is the truth. 🇻🇳
I know it. Back in 2018 I made a trip in Vietnam with a Honda WIN 100 from Ho-Chi-Minh City to Hanoi. Was the best trip of my life so far 😊
I just got back from a ride on a GSX-S1000 in wide open spaces nice new paved road so long and straight you could easily max any bike out or car! It’s like this autobahn expect you best not get caught going that fast they will take your shit tow it and take you to jail for a few hours or days depending! Cost you a bundle! But it’s rare to see a cop out there it’s on the state lines so neither side comes through there it’s a 36 mile long 4 lane flowing through the mountains. I noticed tire wear the 3rd trip down it! 😂 and yes it’s a blast and it’s as close to you can get to flying without leaving the ground for to long. There is a few bridges I swear I get air over at like 130mph so smooth you can barely tell.
Smoothness speed the power... WOOOOOWWW..
Clear video as well...👍👍👍👍
thanks :)
I'm glad you managed to put your hands on one i never had the balls to try it on public roads the way you did
It's really a beast :D
Nice job! I’m 189cm and 90 kilos (plus more with gear). I can achieve around 3.1 to 100 kph (on the same bike, with official results). As you are smaller and lighter then you should be a little quicker. The best way I try and explain (in today’s words) to get the fastest starts, as mine is purely based and learnt from countless race starts in the 90’s with no technology to help you get away quickly. A bit like the GSX-S1000. Try and start like it had “launch control”. This would mean bring the RPM up to about 7,000 and as soon your clutch reaches the friction zone give it max power and “slowly” release the clutch. By the time the clutch is fully extended, it will be time to grab second and so on. Even without a quick shifter, you can from second on up change without the clutch (although for longevity it’s not recommended). Even with the clutch, if you get the first gear done correctly, you will still accelerate quicker. It’s not an easy thing to do. Just needs lots of practice, hence why you will always see the MotoGP and WSB racers keep practicing this. As a perfect start compared to a good start could be the difference between 4 rows on a starting grid come turn number 1. Especially at my home race track being Phillip Island! The starting grid there is slightly up hill... Great work! Can’t wait for the next one as I love the way you do your videos. 👍😎🇦🇺
Nice advice.. Thanks!
thanks bro :) It really was a bad start :D It's not my own bike and every bike is a little bit different in clutch behaviour etc. But maybe I get another attempt with this bike (after it got an ECU flash). Acceleration fast with these powerful bikes is not so easy. So you're right, you have to practice a lot :)
I regularly beat bmw s1000rr on the start, up to 3rd gear. Yes, i love my gsxs really a great overall bike!
@@grandjean5605 Suzuki have a secret weapon on there hands and I’m glad for the latest version that they stuck with it! That K5 “old” engine, back in the day, was actually producing quicker lap times in WSB pre-season testing than any of the MotoGP bikes. It’s never always about how much hp a bike makes, rather who to best get it to the ground. How do I know? I was lucky enough to be around during pre-season testing, at my own home race track being Phillip Island.
4 weeks and I get this beast... 2020 model, black matte. Can't wait..
great :) wish you a lot of fun and ride safe ;)
We got the same bike then..love mine. Ride safe
It's 150hp at the crank according to the Suzuki site. The only reason I say this is because mine got a decat and dyno tune in NZ by one of the best performance tuners in the country and I got 155hp at the rear wheel... That's with all the injector and throttle body limitations turned off along with the start assist feature and a few other settings.
All advertised HP ratings from manufactures are always at the crank and you lose around 12-13% through the drivetrain which makes the stock gsxs1000 143hp at the rear wheel... After all the rear wheel is the only thing that matters when your putting down rubber
that sounds nice :) have you also been on a 1/4 mile or have some gps tests of acceleration?
Looks great. I like the GSX-S 1000, and specially this colour pattern. I got an older CBF600 as a bike, and i will test it Sunday morning on the Autobahn too ;-)
sehr gut :) allzeit gute Fahrt!
Wow that's a fast motorcycle. Still trying to imagine how the bike actually feels since I'm planning to get it this year. Been riding cruisers since I started in 2014. Want something sporty and comfy, this fits the bill and a demo on one would definitely help
Get a windshield for it. The windblast on longer rides is... not great if I'm honest. It's a super fun bike though. I've been riding mine for about a year.
it really makes fun :D of course a windshield would be good for better comfort
@@jordandayedes3628 good stuff, definitely planning to get a touring screen for mine
@@mototop_ looking forward to this
Happy GSX1000S owner here. Prefer better to the GSX1000 specifically for wind aerodynamics. Absolutely love the bike. Very comfy to cruise on but not a problem to lean in when so included. Very comfortable gentleman's bike.

Great Job Bro, Thats some serious Horsepower all right. It certainly gets up to speed pretty quick. Big Thumbs up, Cheers Paul
Thanks bro :) It really is a beast, and has similar acceleration as the Z H2. 0-100 I could have done better :D Maybe I get another attempt.
with my unmodified 2018 canadian model, on sea level, i achieved 267km/h on odometer @ 12krpm. (If you always ride up to max red line, i noticed ecu will adds 500rpm to max!) I'm 1.92m\96kg. 3.1s on 0-100 is easily reached if focused ;) (and u beat s1000rr lol)
Nice ride, awesome quality video! Thanks man!
thanks bro :) have you tested 0-100 per GPS or speedo?
@@mototop_ directly not, but my friend on s1000rr full akra had one and 3.1" is his reading, so since I'm in front of him up to almost end of 2nd, my guess is I'm at 3.1 too
@@grandjean5605 great :)
8,6 sg 0-200 kmh ,... very good !! and 5 sg 100-200kmh ,...good torque !
acceleration could have been a little bit better. Launch was not perfect ;)
Coming at you from Southwest Washington State. Love your content brother oh, God bless.
thanks bro :)
".. but in the second time we only had two mistake..." Grande Joel Santana! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
ok :)
100 to 200 is massively quick. Strange top speed is below 250. This must have been great fun! :)
oh, it makes a lot of fun :) acceleration is so fast, because it has a very short gear ratio. That's why topspeed is not so high, because it's revs are limited in 6th gear to not always run into rev limiter.
@@mototop_ Ah, yes, this is perfect gearing for fast acceleration, and basically a top speed higher than this one is "pointless" for 99% of users. If I had this bike myself, I would definitely have another another +1 / +2 front sprocket for some top speed run :)
100-200 5 sec. faster than ferrari 488 pista but slower than 720s
Stock vmax limited to 250
F model looks like a scooter from front... without changing sprokets can't get over 250km/h... but I love my bike. It's my first own bike and it's the best thing in my life. Winter always feels way too long, and summer too short.
still makes fun this bike :)
I'd had the f version and now I've got a gsxr 750... I'd love a head to head with them both
if I get both bikes for testing.... :)
What a smooth sounds ❤️❤️❤️
oh yes :)
Holy shit
Extremely smooth
extremely fast I would say :)
Moc solidni vyborne👌👌👌👌
Vďaka :)
That torque so smooth, i think this will hit 280 easy if remap.
but it will need a longer gear ratio. but I guess 280 as per GPS is not so easy to do
Awesome and beautiful.
thanks :)
Would be great to see this done 0-100km without the gear shift 😅
I reckon mine is under 3 seconds, tuned, air filter, exhaust done & dropped a tooth in the front sprocket ! It hauls 🔥
@@easternmovementprinciples4799 yep, the launch was pretty bad 😅 only had a few attempts
the crazy think is that the new porsche would still win in quarter mile run and this bike is fast as hell, damn
yep, the new Porsches (Turbo S etc.) are very fast :)
Frank Langer
I think you can make it 0.5sec faster with some training with the clutch . You had a serious rev drop in first gear which have destroyed all your measured times. In addition to this you have shifted from 1st to 2nd gear way too early (before you have reached 100km/h). I see a lot of room for Improvement!
right, the start was very bad :D but it's not so easy with a bike you're not familiar with. But I guess I will get another try with this bike, including ECU flash.
Oh shut it Franklin!
That's fantastic 👍
thanks :)
Damn bike pulled 2 g’s out of the whole! I would love to see what mine could do with all the mods and tune and new tires and stuff!
right, it's pretty fast :)
@@mototop_ oh I know I got one runs 10.5’s with me on it and I’m huge. 6’3” 275lbs so lot to pull along! But it helps me keep the front wheel down!
@@tammyforbes2101 was it 1/4mile or 0-200kph?
@@mototop_1/4
Awesome bike to have
yo, it's pretty nice :)
You shift first to second gear at 9500 rpm before reaching 100 kph. Suzuki's K5 engine delivers its full power between 8,000 and 11,200 rpm. You should reach at least 3.1 seconds
yep, was not the pest start. I only had 2 attempts. 3.2 schould be possible. but 3.1 is pretty hard.
keep up good work :) soon it will be relesed a new GSX-S1000, accord to dealer.
thanks :) you know when they will bring an update of the GSX-S1000?
@@mototop_ 26 april

@@mototop_ april 26, i heard they are making it as a super naked 200HP, but personally i prefer like a 170-180HP better midrange powerband tuned gsxr's vvt engine
@@midhungopan9270 Ok, but I also can't imagine they will bring a naked with 200hp. 170hp would be good :)

Where were the revs on the start 😂😂
Nice bike though. I have a 2019 gsxr1000r so not really blown away by this but a cool video none the less.
it's not my own bike, and I only had about 3 attempts. learning by doing, you know :D Every bike has diferent behavior of engine, clutch, throttle....
You are posting faster numbers on this bike than the kawasaki zh2.
Your clock, camera, fingers or all 3 are broken.
I have a zh2 and my buddy a gsxs1000
The zh2 is untouchable.
the numbers are not faster, they are similar. the GSX-S1000 has about 40kg less weight and a shorter gear ratio than ZH2. that's why acceleration is so good.
Please do SV650 next!
if I get one :) sadly it's not so easy to get bikes for testing :.(
I got one of these ypu changed out of first gear at 100km/h it goes to 140 but you still done a 10.7 quarter. You must be light as hell
I know, the launch was very bad 😅 I guess I could have done it about 0,3s faster.
Very nice 👍
thanks :)
wow, very quick
Launch could have been better
@@mototop_ maybe but i did not expect it to be that fast from 100 to 200 for a naked bike?! is it stock?
@@Krezo200 only has an Akrapovic exhaust.
Naked bikes have fast acceleration because they have a shorter gear ratio.
Please.....take off traction control...better performance
I know :D But I'm more safe with traction control activated, at least in mode 1. At my CBR1100XX I don't have traction control, but this bike has more weigth and longer wheelbase.
Whaouuuuuu
you like it? :)
160 MPH.. damn that's fast. pull the secondary throttle valves out, add a limiter remover and pull the exhaust shut off valve, and you should be able to hit 300kph or 200mph no problem.
maybe per speedo, but nut per GPS
@@mototop_ I put an X-TRE Power Box on my GSXS-750. boosted the shit out of the first 3 gears. unfortunately it does not remove the speed limiter on bikes smaller than 1000cc. might be worth looking into. I found it on e-bay for around $140. when i get my Katana repaired I will put it on it.

to 100 its "slow". but the Power to 200 is too! And 100-200 is much faster than other bike with mor power...wow! I think its the "old" K5 engine from round about 2005 that simply performs really well here. There are also tests from 50-120. So basically what you need on the country road. On this the motorcycle is right at the top. All with just 150 hp.
right, the launch was very bad :)
The engine is in original configuration? Or only complete exhaust, filter and addictional centraline? Thank you for you answer.
