Every time I see anything unus annus I do cry. I didnt realize til it was gone I realized how much it mattered to me. And when the timer counted down and it hit zero and then the stream went dark I started crying bigtime. My mom watched a couple hours of it even tho she had never actually watched it with me (she understood how meaningful it was to me) and she was enjoying the storys and videos they did show. I miss unus annus.
At the end of the game, we see this quote:

Despite this being a Slender-Man game, our antagonist never appears but once.
Is this game's existence purely just to play on your fear? You know who Slender is, you know what he does, but nothing happens? You see him for a split second, but then he disappears. Gone, zap, cabloosh.
Whenever you collect the pages, it's supposed to get harder, as all Slender games do. If so, then why do we remain alone? The sounds change, but that was just to keep you on your toes. The radio playing the scary noises, the thumping, the shuffling around the house. Was there any REAL cause? Was there an actual entity causing these noises? Or was it just fear our character was experiencing?

And it was worse in the Resident Evil games. In RE 2 you'd go and get a key in one room to get a key to another room which had another key to a room you hadn't even been to you. And it was never just a key, it was always like half of a statue of a duck's penis or something and you had to complete it.

@@8Dmovielover Unus Annus was a channel that Mark and Ethan (crankgameplays) created for a year before deleting it. It was a channel to symbolize how short life was and to live it to its fullest, but it was basically a shit-post channel to do stuff that would get their normal channels demonotized.

That slender game was probably one of my favorites. It built up so much tension and fear with the environment and they never showed Slendy until the end. Honestly incredible.

Hey mark! I’d like to suggest that you play Anatomy: “Every House is Haunted” by Kitty Horrorshow, I’d think you’d like it! It’s a psychological horror puzzle game where you wander around an abandoned yet somehow well maintained suburban house for an unknown reason, collecting audio tapes of some sort of documentary/ lecture, discovering secrets about the house and what you are and why you are there. It has some “meta” elements and requires multiple play - throughs, taking about 40 minutes *in total* to finish, enough for 2 parts. It is very interesting, makes some interesting points on psychological and the legacy of the haunted house, has excellent pacing and sound design, absolutely masters the “unreveal”, and has frequently been described as one of the best horror games of the decade!
Absolutely! I really think Mark should play it! I saw a play through of it once and man does it really give you this constant sense of dread, tension and feeling of unease throughout the entirety of the game which I think horror games nowadays rarely hit without it being broken by some random jump scare. It indeed executes its psychological elements perfectly and delivers quite the horrifying experience that slowly builds up bit by bit. I would love to see how Mark reacts to it!

It sounds like a good game, people act like all they want is a all horror game with nothing but spook, yes a good horror game should have some good scares, but it also makes it a good horror game if it actually makes you FEEL something, that being a deep sense of dread or sadness or just meaning (if that makes sense) so I hope mark sees your comment and plays this, the way you talk about it makes it seem like the developer(s) actually CARES about their game as much as they care about the money they gain from it.
