If your budget is tight, Why don't you go for a 1 Ton Split AC. Rather investing in a dehumidifier I would suggest you to buy a 1 Ton Inverter AC from godrej which comes with dehumidification Feature. Also a Dehumidifier wont be much effective with a cooler! It's better to buy an AC.

Also you need to know brother, that Air purifiers can actually work as dehumidifier but dehumidifier cannot work as air purifier & Air purifier will any day be better choice for you!

I live very near to the sea in Mumbai. Due to chronic asthma, I have faced lot of problems. If possible, please answer below 2 questions for me:
(1) I already have a split AC and a humidifier. Will buying the Number 2 option (Power Pye) be helpful for me?
(During Monsoon, even with AC, my room gets too much humidified)
(2) Dehumidifier 2 (Power Pye) sells HEPA filter seperately. Is it okay to buy the dehumidifier without the HEPA? Or is HEPA essential for dehumidifier function?
(I already have an air purifier)
1) Brother the reason why humidity is still inside your room after using an Air conditioner is that because you are using a humidifier not a dehumifier. I would highly suggest you to go for the second dehumidifier in the list. You will find the humidity levels controlled after all I am sure. Though You can also consider buying a new AC which comes with inbuilt dehumidification features.
2) It is preferable to buy dehumidifier with a HEPA Filter buddy! If the Hepa Filter is Hepa H13 or Hepa H14 it is most preferable otherwise a normal Hepa filter is fairly effective.

Brother, agar situation itni worse hai toh please aap ek acha dehumidifier hi lijiye, atleast ek Power-pye ka stabilizer is least you should consider. Otherwise I would suggest aap apne liye AC lelijiye, AC ke andar apko dehumifier ka option bhi mill jayega plus apko dono ki cost almost similar hi padegi, Toh better ye hai ki aap AC ko hi apne liye chunne!

That’s wrong. AC doesn’t dehumidify. It basically cools down the water molecules in the air hence it appears to be reducing moisture while it’s running. And your room moisture doesn’t go anywhere. Once you turn off the AC, the humidity goes back to the same level.
Whereas the dehumidifier suck the water out of the air, hence actually dehumidifying.
So even if you have AC, you need dehumidifier if your room has high humidity which can be checked with a hygrometer.
Well I am not sure that whether you have been using the same old AC models in your house. I recently bought 2 LG AC's for my home, and both of them comes with a dehumidifier function. Once I switch on my AC it automatically runs on dehumidification feature by automatically guessing the temp outside and inside.
